Gilda’s Club New York City’s cancer support community
has been made possible only by the continued generosity of
individuals, corporations and foundations.
We invite you to join those who have given so much
to bring cancer support to all New Yorkers living with
cancer. Our newly designed donor’s mural will be used to
recognize these generous contributions to Gilda’s Club
New York City.
The donor’s wall (9’ high by 13’ wide) can be found in
our clubhouse on West Houston Street on the main floor
corridor leading towards our grand Dance Hall. In this
space our members congregate for social events, yoga
classes, wellness groups and lectures.

In honor of your dedication to Gilda’s Club New York
City we will acknowledge gifts of $2,500 or more with a
permanent inscribed plaque on our donor mural. Below,
please find our various naming opportunities and levels.
$2,500 - $4,999 = small books (far right panel)
$5,000 - $14,999 = drawer handles and key holes
$15,000 - $49,999 = medium books (far left panel)
$50,000 - $99,999 = large books (center panel)
$100,000 - $199,999 = objects (middle shelf)
$200,000 - $499,999 = objects (top shelf)
$500,000 - $1,000,000+ = bookcase crowns
Planned gifts are also encouraged and welcomed with
appropriate recognition.
We cannot guarantee the naming of specific items. We will
do our best to accommodate requests based on availability.
Work on the Gilda’s Club NYC donor’s wall began in late
2009. The pro-bono project was led by Judy Futterman,
Lucylee Chiles and over twenty teachers and students
from the Isabel O’Neil Studio Workshop. The artists
demonstrated their talents by painting the objects and
books seen in the mural. The objects, drawer handles and
chinoiserie carvings were enhanced with 24 carat gold leaf.
Judy has been a student, teacher and Board member at
the Studio for many years in addition to receiving the
Studio’s highest award of Master. Lucylee was the Executive
Director of the Studio.
We will be forever grateful to Judy, Lucylee, and the
Isabel O’Neil teachers and students for bringing their
beautiful work to our clubhouse.

Because of variation in character width we may need to propose modifications to an inscription so it will fit.
We have found that 20-24 characters often work best, depending on width of varying characters (a capital I
takes up less room than a capital W, for example.)
