Mountedwithinatoughimpactandweatherresistant<br />
PELIcasethe<strong>F4000</strong>unitcanberemovedfromthecase<br />
and used as a standalone unit, where this makes<br />
testing more convenient. Smaller and lighter than<br />
previous instruments the unit incorporates individual<br />
pockets for storing accessories. Powered by 6 no AA<br />
batteriestheunitisalsosuppliedwitha mainspower<br />
adaptor.Theunitfeaturesatouchscreen,menudriven<br />
display,makingairqualitytestingbotheasyandquick<br />
tocomplete,withatypicaltesttakingapproximately18<br />
minutes.<br />

ThedetectionparametersofEN120211998aremetor<br />
exceeded during the automatically controlled test by<br />
theuseofDraegerdetectortubestoestablishlevelsof<br />
carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oil and water. The<br />
correctoiltesttimecanbeselectedfromalistofover<br />
360compressoroilsinthe<strong>F4000</strong>’smemory.Inaddition<br />
the <strong>F4000</strong> is fully compatible with the new Draeger<br />
Impactor, which has no glass or hazard components<br />
andcantestforallknownsyntheticandmineraloils.Aninbuiltelectronicsensorwithdigitalreadoutmeasures<br />
oxygencontent,whilstanelectronicflowmeterallowsairflowsofupto600l/mintobeverified.<br />
<br />
At the end of each test results can be stored within the <strong>F4000</strong>’s memory and then downloaded via the USB<br />
memorystickconnectionintoPCcompatiblesoftwarewhichissuppliedwitheachunit.Thissoftwareprovidesan<br />
easywaytoretainandprinttestresults.<br />

TheunitisdesignedtotestlowpressureairlinebreathingsystemsbutcanbeusedwiththeF3002highpressure<br />
regulatorassemblytotestHPcylinders.<strong>Factair</strong>’squalityaccreditedinstrumentworkshopprovidesrecalibration<br />

To fully automate moisture determination the <strong>F4000</strong> can be supplied complete with an integral electronic<br />
dewpoint meter (ED). This unit measures the moisture levels within the breathing air and records the<br />
informationinpressureoratmosphericdewpointlevelsaswellasprovidingthereadinginmg/m 3 .Thisdewpoint<br />
meterisspeciallysuitedtosampleairqualitytestingensuringanaccuratemoisturereadingwithinthestandard<br />
