1. In pursuance of Corporation O.M. No. PL-(M-1)/Induction-427 dated April<br />

4 th , <strong>2012</strong> and subsequent decisions thereon in case of weightage of post<br />

qualification experience in M-1/M-2 Grade, ON LINE applications are<br />

invited in the prescribed format from the intending <strong>DVC</strong> regular Group B<br />

employees for induction in Executive Cadre (for direct entry into M-1 / M-2<br />

Grade) possessing requisite professional qualification i.e. BE / B.Tech /<br />

B.Sc. Engineering(Fulltime) / AMIE in respective Engineering Stream, CA /<br />

ICWA / MBA Degree in Finance or PG Diploma / Degree (at least two<br />

years full time) in Finance and Accounts Stream and MBA Degree in HR or<br />

Masters Degree/Post Graduate Degree/Diploma (at least two years full time) in<br />

Personnel Management & Industrial Relations and equivalent from University /<br />

Institution approved by AICTE to fill up the vacancies in the posts<br />

mentioned hereunder on 20% quota basis.<br />

6. Compensation Package :<br />

Selected candidates will be placed in the M1 / M2 Grade (Rs.15, 600-39,100<br />

in Pay Band 3 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- & 5650/- respectively) as the case<br />

may be. Besides Basic Pay & G.P., candidates will also be paid other<br />

admissible allowances and benefits as admissible as per Corporation Rules in<br />

force from time to time.<br />

7. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS:<br />

(i) Reservations and relaxations for SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer)<br />

candidates will be provided as per GOI Directives.<br />

(ii) The OBC candidates who belong to “Creamy Layer” are not entitled for<br />

OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category<br />

not as OBC but as General only.<br />

(iii) For claiming such reservation / relaxation, SC/ST/OBCs have to submit<br />

self-attested copy of their Caste certificate in GOI format. Specimen<br />

GOI formats of such certificates relevant to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy)<br />

candidates, are available in <strong>DVC</strong> website www.dvc.gov.in<br />

8. HOW TO APPLY:<br />

(i)<br />

Candidate should arrange to have 4(four) identical colored passport<br />

(PP size) photographs (size 3.5cm x 3.5cm) not older than 3 months


from the date of application. The photograph should be with clear front<br />

view of the candidate without cap or sunglasses. Xerox copy of<br />

photograph is not permitted. Identical photos shall be used throughout<br />

the selection process.<br />

Thereafter, Online application in the prescribed format including Format<br />

1(Certificate to be granted by the Controlling Officer) (which will be<br />

available in <strong>DVC</strong> website from 04.09.<strong>2012</strong>) should be filled in and take<br />

print out of the online application and is to be submitted to their<br />

concerned Controlling Officer along with the self-attested copies of all<br />

documents including educational qualifications, experience from other<br />

Organization, if any, date of birth, OBC (Non-creamy Layer), SC/ST<br />

certificate, as applicable in the prescribed form issued by the<br />

competent authority specified under the GOI rules (specimen formats<br />

of caste etc. available in <strong>DVC</strong> website for guidance) and 4(four)<br />

identical passport size photographs (one photograph should be affixed<br />

on the right side top of the application duly attested and the other three<br />

should be stapled with the application).<br />

The applications so received shall be verified by the Controlling Officer<br />

with specific recommendations as per proforma regarding suitability of<br />

the candidates (recommendations to be made only if the candidate<br />

fulfills the minimum requisite criteria for the post applied for) and<br />

the same may be handed over to the candidate who in turn will submit<br />

to us at the time of interview.<br />

(iv) Candidates should bring the print out of online application along with<br />

the recommendation of the Controlling Officer / Project HRD Officer at<br />

the time of Interview positively. The Controlling Officer / Project HRD<br />

Officer will made recommendations as per the prescribed proforma<br />

only if the candidate fulfills the minimum requisite criteria for the post<br />

applied for. In no case the candidature of the candidates will be<br />

considered without the print out online application along with the<br />

recommendations of the Controlling Officer / Project HRD Officer as the<br />

case may be.<br />

9. GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS:<br />

Only <strong>DVC</strong> regular Group B employees fulfilling the eligibility criteria as<br />

laid down in OM No. PL-(M-1)/Induction-427 dated April 4 th , <strong>2012</strong> and<br />

other terms & conditions on the date of application only need apply.<br />

Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfils the<br />

eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement<br />

hoisted on the website www.dvc.gov.in Candidature of the candidate<br />

is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after<br />

recruitment if any information provided by the candidate is found to be<br />

false or not in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the<br />

advertisement. The decision of <strong>DVC</strong> in all matters regarding eligibility of<br />

the candidate at any stage of the process of recruitment shall be final<br />

and binding on the candidate. If any shortcoming is detected after<br />

appointment, the services of such candidates are liable to be<br />

terminated.

If the Institute/University awards dual specialization (as is done in<br />

MBA Degree/Diploma awarded by some Institutes/Universities),<br />

only those candidates are eligible who have secured major<br />

specialization in Accounts/Finance/HR.<br />

If the candidate desires to be considered against a specific category as<br />

filled by him / her in application, subsequent representation for change<br />

of category status will not be entertained under any circumstances.<br />

List of candidates found eligible for Interview would be hosted<br />

along with Interview Schedule and necessary instructions on <strong>DVC</strong><br />

website in due course and no individual call letter would be sent to<br />

the candidates separately. Therefore, candidates are advised in<br />

their own interest to visit <strong>DVC</strong> website from time to time for<br />

important <strong>notification</strong> in this regard.<br />

Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification for the candidate.<br />

<strong>DVC</strong> reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, modify the<br />

educational qualifications without assigning any reason thereof and any<br />

decision of <strong>DVC</strong> in respect of the selection process throughout is final &<br />

binding.<br />

10.GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS:<br />

i) Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the<br />

eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement as<br />

well as on the website www.dvc.gov.in.<br />

ii) Candidates are required to sign in the prescribed place provided in<br />

the Form in running hand and not in Block Capital or disjointed<br />

letter. During physical verification, all signatures should be identical.<br />

Different styled Signature at various occasions during<br />

<strong>Recruitment</strong> activities may lead to the rejection of the<br />

candidature.<br />

iii) The candidates will appear for interview as per list available in the<br />

<strong>DVC</strong> website.<br />

iv) The candidate claiming to belong to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy<br />

layer)/PH/Ex-Servicemen category has to submit attested copy of<br />

caste /PH certificate in the prescribed format issued by the<br />

competent authority specified by GOI Rules/Orders. In case of OBC<br />

(Non Creamy Layer) candidates, latest caste certificate (not older<br />

than six months) needs to be submitted. (Please refer to APPENDIX<br />

in <strong>DVC</strong> website for prescribed GOI format of Caste Certificate).<br />

v) If the candidate desires to be considered against a specific category<br />

as filled by him/her in the application, subsequent representation for<br />

change of category status will not be entertained under any<br />

circumstances.<br />

vi) The OBC candidates who belong to “Creamy Layer” are not entitled<br />

for OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their<br />

category as General.<br />

vii) Candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment


process or after recruitment, if any information provided by the<br />

candidate is found to be false or not in conformity with eligibility<br />

criteria mentioned in the Advertisement. The decision of <strong>DVC</strong> in all<br />

matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications,<br />

penalty for false information, mode of selection, and interviews,<br />

selection and allotment of posts and places of postings to the<br />

selected candidates shall be final and binding on the candidate. No<br />

enquiry/correspondence or telephonic discussion will be entertained<br />

in this regard. If any shortcoming is detected after appointment, the<br />

services of such candidates are liable to be terminated.<br />

viii) It is brought to the knowledge of the candidates that if the situation<br />

so demands due to unforeseen reasons or otherwise, the interview<br />

may continue even on the next working day(s) beyond the fixed<br />

dates, candidates should make their own arrangements for stay for<br />

attending interview.<br />

ix) <strong>DVC</strong> also reserves its right to cancel the advertisement, modify the<br />

educational qualifications/experience without assigning any reason<br />

thereof.<br />

x) Any subsequent amendment/notice/clarification etc., if any, will be<br />

made available in <strong>DVC</strong> website only. As such, candidates are<br />

advised to keep visiting <strong>DVC</strong> website www.dvc.gov.in from time to<br />

time till completion of recruitment process of the post.<br />

xi) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.<br />

xii) Candidates have to submit the following documents/certificates in<br />

original along with a self-attested photocopy of the same to <strong>DVC</strong> at<br />

the time of Interview.<br />

a) Printout of On-Line Application Form duly signed and with<br />

LTI.<br />

b) Pay slip<br />

c) Proof of Date of Birth(school final certificate)<br />

d) Certificates and Marks sheets (Class-X, XII,<br />

Graduation/BE/B. Tech(semester wise)/others)<br />

e) Caste certificate(In case of OBC/SC/ST/PWD)<br />

f) Experience certificate<br />

g) <strong>DVC</strong> Identity Card<br />

h) Any other relevant documents as per check list<br />

xiii) Candidates are required to retain a copy of the On-Line<br />

application print out along with Registration Number safely for<br />

records. Candidates need not send application prints and<br />

documents to <strong>DVC</strong> at this stage. The candidates should<br />

produce the same at the time of Interview.<br />

xiv) Selected candidates may be posted to any Project / Unit / Substation<br />

/ Office of the Corporation.<br />

xv) Incomplete and unsigned applications are liable to be rejected<br />

straightway.<br />

xvi) Candidates are entitled to get T.A. only for attending Interview<br />

from their respective Project/Station of <strong>DVC</strong>.


11)Instructions on HOW to APPLY for ON-LINE APPLICATION for the above<br />

post<br />

Mode of Application: Candidates should apply through <strong>DVC</strong>’s Online Registration<br />

System only. The Online Registration will be available on the website www.dvc.gov.in<br />

and will remain activated from 13.00 hrs of 04.09.<strong>2012</strong> to 24.00 hrs of 25.09.<strong>2012</strong><br />

No other mode of application will be accepted.<br />

Following Information/documents to be kept ready before applying ONLINE<br />

1. One scanned photograph to be uploaded while applying. Besides, Candidate<br />

should arrange to have 4 (four) identical colored passport photographs duly self<br />

attested not older than 3 months of date of application to be stapled with the print<br />

out of the Application so made.<br />

2. Details of caste (SC/ST/OBC) certificate like date of issue, certificate no., issuing<br />

authority etc. as applicable to the candidate including non-creamy layer certificate<br />

for OBC candidates.<br />

3. PH certificate details like percentage of disability, type of disability, issuing<br />

authority, etc. as applicable.<br />

4. Year/Semester wise marks obtained in Degree/Diploma in percentage. School<br />

Final and / or HS examination etc. and other relevant details pertaining to proof of<br />

date of birth, academic qualifications etc.<br />

5. Valid E-Mail ID of the candidate, which shall remain valid for at least 6(six) months<br />

from the date of this advertisement.<br />

6. After having arranged all information/documents, candidates should log on to<br />

www.dvc.gov.in and follow the instructions given therein for Online Application<br />

for the above post. After successful submission of the online data including<br />

uploading of scanned photo, a Unique Registration/Form Number will be<br />

generated and thereafter candidates need to take a printout of the application so<br />

made. Printout without system-generated number will not be accepted in any<br />

case. If candidates are not in position to upload the scan photo, he/she may<br />

submit online application without photo and thereafter staple photo on the print<br />

out application.<br />

8. Candidates are advised to take 2(two) Print outs of the Application and bring one<br />

of them putting his/her signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) at the allocated<br />

place in the Application Form along with documents indicates at Sl.no.10(xii)<br />

above. The thumb impression must be clear and complete. Ridges of the thumb<br />

impression must be clearly visible. The other copy should be kept with the<br />

candidate for future reference. In no case hard copy (print out of application)<br />

should be sent anywhere.<br />

9. Candidates are required to submit the self-certified photocopy of all the<br />

documents pertaining to Age, Qualification, Experience , Caste-if applicable etc.<br />

at the time of Test/Interview. These documents will be verified with originals at the<br />

time of interview. If any candidate is found ineligible while verifying the<br />

documents, he/she shall not be allowed to appear.
