BMO Capital Markets recognized for nearly $1
million in cumulative giving
In the past four years, through the proceeds of its Equity
Through Education initiative, BMO Capital Markets has
funded 12 BMO Capital Markets Loran scholars.
Equity Through Education is a charitable initiative aimed at
creating a more diverse workplace by offering support to help
people realize their educational ambitions by giving them
opportunities they might not otherwise have.
Once each year, all North American institutional equity
trading commissions are donated to organizations dedicated
to the education of bright and deserving individuals. Over
the past four years, this intiative has generated more than
$950,000 in support of the Loran Awards.
At our annual winetasting, we thanked and recognized Mike
Miller, BMO Capital Markets Executive Managing Director,
Head of Equity Products, for this remarkable investment in
young Canadians who show potential for leadership. Bravo!
