This wastewater treatment plant started operating in 2007 and represents an investment of about 15.6 million
Euros, 80% of which is co-financed by the European Union Cohesion Fund. It has a deodorisation system
and an energy recycling system run on biogas generated through an anaerobic digestion process, which
produces electricity and thermal energy.

Innovation in the EU). Eurico has produced numerous publications on the EU 2020 Strategy and has a vast
