PRE-SUMMER<br />
PACKING LIST<br />
Swimsuits should be modest one-piece suits with<br />
no low cut fronts or high cut legs. Shorts and shirts<br />
should cover modestly.<br />
Leave your secular music, books, magazines and comic<br />
books at home. All music at Kamp is positive and<br />
uplifting. Suggestive pictures and obscene or vulgar<br />
language are not allowed at K-West.<br />
PRAY DAILY<br />
...For your Kamp Directors and the 2,000+ counselors,<br />
staff, and medical workers serving at Kamp this summer.<br />
Pray for the other Kampers in your cabin and for each to<br />
experience God’s love at Kamp this summer.<br />
Put a great big <strong>Kanakuk</strong> smile on your face and get<br />
ready for the best summer in <strong>Kanakuk</strong> history!<br />
LABEL<br />
Mark all your clothing, personal belongings and<br />
luggage with your name and Kamp name (K-West).<br />

1. Hair not longer than an inch below the bottom of the<br />
ear for boys. 2. No alternative hairstyles or colors will be<br />
permitted at Kamp. 3. Facial hair is not allowed at Kamp.<br />
4. No jewelry (including watches). Girls can wear stud<br />
earrings (max. 2 stud earrings per ear).<br />
VALUABLES<br />
Leave valuables at home. You will not be able to use these at<br />
Kamp. <strong>Kanakuk</strong> will not be responsible for lost jewelry, ipods,<br />
ipads, video games, cell phones, or other valuable items.<br />
PLEASE WRITE<br />
Write or e-mail your child often while they are at Kamp.<br />
