<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> Ceiling Inlet<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> is a universal air inlet specially designed<br />
for installation in <strong>ceiling</strong>s. <strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong><br />
is designed to enable optimum adjustment<br />
of the amount of air, air velocity and<br />
air direction in relation to the temperature<br />
and the layout of the house.<br />
Low to Medium Ventilation<br />
Requirement<br />
During the cold periods, it is possible to<br />
supply the necessary amount of air at a<br />
low air velocity. This is possible as a result<br />
of the shape of the inlet flap and the<br />
Advanced Inlet Control. These two factors<br />
ensure that the air adheres well to the<br />
<strong>ceiling</strong> (Coanda-effect).<br />
The design of the <strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> inlet flap<br />
ensures that the air is always led along the<br />
<strong>ceiling</strong>. Therefore, the capacity of the <strong>DA</strong><br />
<strong>1500</strong> can be utilised optimally, also at low<br />
and medium ventilation.<br />
With Advanced Inlet Control, the control<br />
of the air currents at minimum ventilation<br />
is improved considerably. Instead of all<br />
<strong>inlets</strong> being opened a little, some of the<br />
<strong>inlets</strong> - e.g. every second inlet - is opened<br />
more. This means that the air is concentrated<br />
in a few, but intense air jets. Large<br />
air jets are more effective and easier to<br />
direct further into the house, thus obtaining<br />
a good climate in the house.<br />
High Ventilation Requirement<br />
During the warm periods with high ventilation<br />
requirement, <strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> maintains the<br />
Coanda-effect of the air along the <strong>ceiling</strong>.<br />
However, the velocity of the incoming<br />
air is so high that air circulation is created<br />
around the animals when the air reaches<br />
the occupational zone. The air velocity will<br />
then cool the animals.<br />
Uniform Opening<br />
The inlet normally opens by pull. SKOV use<br />
8 mm pull rods that ensure a uniform opening<br />
of all <strong>inlets</strong> - even after the system<br />
has been running for several months.<br />
Counteracts Condensation<br />
and Congelation<br />
The inlet casing and inlet flap are insulated<br />
to counteract condensation and resulting<br />
congelation of the flap in periods when<br />
Traditionally designed <strong>ceiling</strong> <strong>inlets</strong> are<br />
often characte-rised by the fact that they<br />
lead the air down on the animals in the<br />
occupational zone too quickly when the<br />
ventilation requirement increases. This<br />
means that the capacity of the traditional<br />
<strong>ceiling</strong> inlet cannot be utilised optimally.

Prepared for High-Pressure<br />
Cooling<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> is prepared for mounting of highpressure<br />
cooling. Clamps for cooling pipes<br />
can be mounted and dismounted without<br />
using any tools.<br />
Easy-to-clean<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> is made of a plastic material,<br />
which stands powerful cleaning with a<br />
high-pressure cleaner. The special pla-stic<br />
is smooth and dirtrepellent, which makes<br />
the <strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> easy to clean. Furthermore,<br />
the material is recyclable.<br />
Lower Establishment Costs<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1500</strong> supplies 1400 m 3 /h at 10 Pa negative<br />
pressure. This output is high compared<br />
to other <strong>ceiling</strong> <strong>inlets</strong>, and the construction<br />
of the inlet ensures that the output can be<br />
utilised. Thus, the costs of establishment are<br />
reduced as fewer <strong>inlets</strong> are needed.
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1800</strong> Ceiling Inlet<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1800</strong> <strong>ceiling</strong> inlet is an effective, extra<br />
fresh air intake, which leads the fresh air<br />
into the house via the attic when it is very<br />
warm outside.<br />
The inlet is used in systems, where the air<br />
intake is supplied by another type of air<br />
intake, e.g. a diffuse air intake. The design of<br />
the inlet ensures that the air is lead directly<br />
down on the animals. In that way the animals<br />
are cooled by means of the air velocity.<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1800</strong> opens by slack, has an insulated<br />
inlet casing, non-insulated flap and is delivered<br />
inclusive of operation kit as standard.<br />
Inlet funnel and possible pipe hangers for<br />
cooling must be ordered separately.<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1800</strong> is prepared for mounting of highpressure<br />
cooling. Pipe hangers for cooling<br />
can be mounted and dismounted without<br />
using any tools.<br />
<strong>DA</strong> <strong>1800</strong> is made of a plastic material,<br />

velocity and air direction is regulated thus<br />
the output can be utilised. Thus, the costs<br />
of establishment are reduced as fewer<br />
<strong>inlets</strong> are needed.<br />
