29th June – 8th July 10 Day Tour 

The famous resort of St Anton is found in the Western Tyrol, close to the Arlberg 

Pass, and a short drive from Liechtenstein, Switzerland and the fantastic attractions 

of Southern Bavaria. It offers a pretty, pedestrianised village centre with a host of 

excellent bars, cafés and restaurants. 

Wed 29th: Letterkenny – Larne – Cairnryan – Hull 

We cross the Irish Sea and travel to Hull to catch our overnight luxury cruise ferry. 

Thur 30th: Rotterdam – Niefern, Germany 

We travel through Holland, before crossing into Germany to our overnight hotel near 

Stuttgart. 

Fri 1st : Niefern – Lindau, Lake Constance - St Anton 

Our first stop today is the pretty island of Lindau set in the northern part of Lake 

Constance. This unique lake has shores in three different countries, Germany, 

Switzerland & Austria. We continue to the famous Alpine town of St. Anton. 

Sat 2nd: Free Day in St Anton – Apple Strudel & Afternoon Tea in Hotel 

A full day at leisure in St Anton, where it is possible to take a cable car into the 

mountains to enjoy the stunning views. We are treated to traditional apple strudel & 

tea/coffee in the hotel this afternoon. 

Sun 3rd: Linderhol Palace – Oberammergau 

This full day excursion over the beautiful Fern Pass and into Bavaria starts with a visit 

to one of ‘Mad’ King Ludwig’s castles. We then visit the village of Oberammergau, 

home to the world famous Passion Play performed every 10 years. 

Mon 4th: Day to Innsbruck 

Today we visit Innsbruck, “Capital of the Tyrol”, where we can wander the beautiful 

pedestrianised town centre and admire the famous “Little Golden Roof”. This evening 

we have the option of going to a Tyrolean Folk night in St Anton. 

Tues 5th: Day to Feldkirch and Vaduz 

Situated on the Austrian/Swiss border, Feldkirch has a beautiful medieval town centre 

with towers, gateways, the Schattenburg Castle and Cathedral. In the afternoon we 

pay a short visit to Vaduz, Capital of Liechtenstein. 

Wed 6th: St Anton – Schaffhausen - Niefern 

Today we visit the medieval city of Schaffhausen, Swizerland, where we have the 

option to visit the largest waterfall in Europe, “The Rhein Falls”. We then continue 

through the Black Forest area of Germany to our hotel in Niefern. 

Thurs 7th: Niefern - Rotterdam 

We have the opportunity to admire the scenery of northern Germany as we return to 

the port of Rotterdam to board our luxury cruise ferry.

10th - 16th August 7 Day Tour 

Belgium is packed with historic towns and cities, and our tour will provide a real 

surprise for all new visitors. Each of the three cities featured here offer a unique range 

of historic buildings, cobbled streets, wide market places as well as museums, a 

rich cultural heritage, and cafés and restaurants that would satisfy the most fussy of 

gourmets. Our base is a 3 star superior hotel in the centre of Mechelen, one of Flanders 

treasures (it is a well kept secret that Mechelen boasts 3 Unesco world heritage sites 

and almost as many classified monuments and buildings as Brugge!). 

Wed 10th: Letterkenny – Dublin Port - Holyhead – Luton 

We get the morning ferry from Dublin Port to Holyhead before travelling along the 

beautiful North Wales coast. We continue south with a stop en-route to arrive at our 

4 star hotel this evening. 

Thur 11th: Luton – Folkestone – Eurotunnel – Calais - Mechelen 

Today we make our way to Folkestone for the 35 minute Eurotunnel crossing to France. 

From France we cross the border into Belgium and then on to our hotel which is located 

right in the city centre of beautiful Mechelen. Tonight we enjoy dinner in the hotel. 

Fri 12th: Morning Free in Mechelen – Afternoon Tour to Leuven 

A morning at leisure in Mechelen. Discover the market square, waterways, and St 

Rumbouts Cathedral. In the afternoon we travel to Leuven, a place of refuge for the 

Earls on their flight from Ireland in 1607. We return to Mechelen and leave you free to 

sample one of the many fine restaurants to be found near the hotel. 

Sat 13th: Day Tour to Gent 

Today we make the short journey to the charming city of Gent. We start with a guided 

sightseeing tour before enjoying a free afternoon where we can stroll along the 

beautiful waterway that give this city centre it’s unique atmosphere. 

Sun 14th: Day Tour to Brugge 

Any visit to Belgium must include time to enjoy the wonderful Brugge, known as “The 

Venice of the North”, and one of northern Europe’s undisputed gems. We include a 

cruise along the canal before having ample free time to enjoy its cobbled streets, 

beautiful squares, grand buildings, and no visit would be complete without sampling 

one of the city’s 49 chocolate boutiques! 

Mon 15th: Mechelen – Ypres – Calais – Eurotunnel – Folkstone - Luton 

This morning we leave Mechelen and travel to the historic city of Ypres where we can 

see the famous “Menin Gate”. We make our way to Calais to board the Eurotunnel 

back to England and return to our overnight hotel in Luton. 

Tues 16th: Luton – Holyhead – Dublin Port - Letterkenny 

This morning we travel North to Holyhead with comfort stops en-route before we 

board our ferry, taking us back to Dublin

The Novotel Mechelen 

This 3 Star hotel, which opened in 2003, 

is located about 300 metres from the 

beautiful market square in the centre of 

this lovely Flanders town. It has 122 ensuite

This 8 night cruise brings us face to face with awe inspiring Fjordland scenery and 

the Nordic heritage of this wonderful coastal region. Each village has its own unique

Tues 16th: Letterkenny – Larne – Cairnryan – Edinburgh - Board Cruise Ship 

We disembark in Larne and make our way to the port of Leith, on the outskirts of 

Edinburgh, to board our cruise ship, The Ocean Countess. 

Wed 17th: Day at Sea 

Today our ship sails North towards Norway. This gives us an ideal opportunity to 

familiarise ourselves with the ship and the range of facilities on board. 

Thurs 18th: Bergen, Norway 

Our first stop is the attractive port town of Bergen. From the bustling fish market and 

multi-coloured quaint timber houses, to the shops stacked with jewellery, crafts, & 

local delicacies, Bergen is a wonderful introduction to Norway. 

Fri 19th: Molde – Romsdalsfjord - Andalsnes, Norway 

Molde is a friendly, laid-back town, located between the Romsdal Mountains and 

Norway’s coastline. In the afternoon we cruise to Åndalsnes, where the famous 

winding Trollstigen Road offers superb views. 

Sat 20th: Stranda, Geirangerfjord , Norway 

The spectacular scenery continues as we head on to Stranda. The Geirangerfjord is 

unique and exceptionally beautiful – which is why this fjord landscape is included on 

UNESCO’s World Heritage List. 

Sun 21st Flam – Sognefjord - Vik 

Beautiful Flåm is situated in the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord, a tributary 

of the Sognefjord, the world’s longest and deepest fjord. We call to Vik to embark 

passengers who took the Norway in a Nutshell tour (*extra option) from Flåm. 

Mon 22nd: Eidfjord 

This morning, we call to the village of Eidfjord with a chance to visit the Hardangervidda 

plateau and Vøringsfossen (*extra option), Norway’s most famous multiple waterfalls 

- a fitting finish to this inspiring cruise. 

Tues 23rd: Day at Sea 

Today we enjoy our last day at sea as our ship makes it’s way back towards Scotland. 

Wed 24th: Edinburgh – Cairnryan – Larne - Letterkenny 

This morning we disembark our ship and have a short city tour of Edinburgh before 

departing around lunchtime to travel to Cairnryan for our sailing back to Larne.

9th - 18th September 10 Day Tour 

This new tour to the Costa Brava in Spain, is based in the town of Roses, which is 

full of history and culture but with every modern holiday facility. The clean, blue 

Mediterranean laps against the long sandy beach and the tree lined promenade offers 

excellent daytime and evening walks. We enjoy excursions that vary from the small 

white-washed village of Cadaques to the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. Our hotel has 

a regular programme of entertainment running during our stay.

We sail to Cairnryan and travel to Hull to board our overnight luxury cruise ferry.

Today we travel on one of the most scenic roads in the Pyrenees to the picturesque 

village of Castellfolit de la Roco. We visit Figueres, where we can admire the work of 

Salvador Dali. Don’t forget your camera today! 

Wed 14th: Day Trip to Barcelona 

Our guided tour of Barcelona shows us everything from the bustling Ramblas, through 

to the quiet elegance and distinctive architecture of the historic centre. With free time 

for shopping added in, there really is something here for everyone. 

Thur 15th: Half Day Trip to Cadaques 

The fashionable, whitewashed resort of Cadaques has a certain magic to it and is only

Explore the spectacular scenery of Lake Garda, seeing some delightful resorts along 

the way, including the enchanting spa town of Sirmione, where we stop for lunch. 

Wed 14th: Half Day Trip to Verona 

Verona is one of Italy’s loveliest towns, and is only a short journey from the lake. 

While here we will see the house of Romeo & Juliet, and have time to explore the 

town’s medieval centre. 

Thur 15th: Free Day in Torbole 

Relaxation is the name of the game in Torbole, a fishing port turned fashionable resort. 

Torbole has good shops, restaurants, lakeside beaches, & a lovely flat promenade 

that leads all the way to Riva del Garda. A lovely holiday atmosphere prevails and 

there are many pleasure boat excursions that can be taken from the harbour.

Although Venice is approximately 2½ hours from Torbole, it is well worth the journey.

Today we travel north to Renon, a plateau in the first part of the Dolomites where

This new tour for 2011 is based in Tenby, one of South Wales’s premier tourist towns. 

The town itself is steeped in history and is surrounded by an 13th century stone wall,

beautiful seaside resorts in Wales. The tour also provides us with a true taste of Wales, 

including a trip on the Brecon Mountain Steam Train, a descent into & guided tour of a

Today we travel to Wexford for our overnight stay, awaking refreshed for our morning 

sailing from Rosslare to Fishguard the following day. 

Fri 22nd: Wexford – Rosslare – Fishguard - Tenby 

On arrival in Fishguard we make the short journey to St. David’s, the spiritual home 

of Wales and a tiny village-sized city with the truly remarkable St. David’s Cathedral. 

In the afternoon we travel along the road known as “Seventeen Hills in Sixteen Miles” 

en-route to the Park Hotel, set overlooking Tenby’s North Bay and Tenby Harbour.

Today we enjoy a day relaxing in this beautiful town. There are so many ways to spend 

the day, from a stroll along the blue flag beach, or perhaps explore the walled town 

with its quaint shops and restaurants. Maybe visit the harbour or take a boat trip 

out to Caldey Island, now owned and run by Cistercian monks, who live a simple life 

farming the island alongside a small village community. 

Sun 24th: Rhondda Coalfields – The Valleys – Brecon Mountain Steam Train 

We start the morning with a visit to the Rhondda Heritage Park, a living museum of life 

and mining in the Rhondda Coalfields. We will have the opportunity of a trip by cage 

down to the coal face of the wonderfully preserved Lewis Myrthyr Colliery. We can 

enjoy some refreshments in the café as we take in the beautiful views of the famous 

“Valleys of South Wales”. In the afternoon we enjoy a journey on the Brecon Mountain 

narrow gauge steam railway amongst stunning scenery. 

Mon 25th: Tenby – Aberystwyth – Caernarfon 

We leave Tenby and make our way to the seaside town of Aberystwyth, travelling 

along the magnificent coastal road. In the afternoon we visit the picturesque village 

of Betws-y-Coed before going over the Pass of Llanberis and past the foot of Mount 

Snowdon to arrive at our hotel in Caernarfon. 

Tues 26th: Caernarfon – Holyhead – Dublin Port - Home 

This morning we cross the Menai Bridge onto the Isle of Anglesey for a visit 

to the village with the longest name in the Britain, maybe even the world,

We catch the lunchtime ferry from Holyhead back to Dublin and then home again.

3rd - 7th August 5 Day Tour 

This tour was one of our fastest selling tours in 2010 and we are delighted to be 

returning again this year. The Isle of Man is a beautiful island with breathtaking 

scenery, unspoilt beaches, and a relaxed pace of life, and is located almost 

equidistance between Ireland & Britain. For the duration of our tour we will be based 

in Douglas, the capital of the Island, and a unique blend of holiday resort and working 

harbour. The town of Douglas sits on the 2-mile crescent of Douglas bay and offers 

visitors a wealth of things to do, including a trip along the promenade in the world’s 

oldest horse-drawn trams, a trip on the old steam railway, or an evening at the brass 

bands on the prom. 

Wed 3rd: Letterkenny – Belfast - Douglas 

Today we catch the morning sailing to our neighbouring island. The Isle of Man is 

located in the middle of the Irish Sea, just 90 miles from Belfast and 83 miles from 

Liverpool. We arrive in the seaside town of Douglas this afternoon where you will have 

some time to relax and ‘get your bearings’ before dinner. 

Thurs 4th: Tour to Laxey Wheel, Ramsey & Peel (North of Island) 

We begin our day with a visit to the famous Laxey Wheel, the world’s largest surviving 

water wheel, before continuing to the bustling harbour town of Ramsey. This afternoon 

we visit the historic fishing port of Peel, famous for it’s castle and delicious Manx 

kippers. 

Fri 5th: A Day of Leisure in Douglas 

Enjoy a relaxing day in this beautiful seaside town. Douglas boasts a wealth of things 

to do – perhaps indulge in some shopping in the pedestrianised shopping centre, 

enjoy a stroll through the sunken gardens which run along the promenade, visit the 

award winning Manx Museum, or take a trip on one of the vintage railways. 

Sat 6th: Tour to Cregneash Village (South of Island) 

Today our excursion brings us to the island’s spectacular South. We’ll gain a fascinating 

insight into Manx traditions at the Cregneash Folk Museum, before visiting Calf Sound 

at the southern tip of the island. The visitor centre here has glass walls and a turf 

roof, and offers spectacular views out to the Calf of Man, and if you look closely you 

might even spot one of the basking sharks that the waters are renowned for. We then 

continue through the beautiful Silverglade Glen to Castletown, former capital of the 

island and site of Rushen Castle. 

Sun 7th: Douglas – Belfast - Home 

This morning we say farewell to the Isle of Man, or ‘Ellan Vannin’ as it’s called in Manx 

Gaelic. With limited ferry crossings, it means an early start to catch the 7am sailing to 

cross the Irish Sea once more and arrive in Belfast mid-morning. We will do a city tour 

of Belfast with some free time for lunch before returning home.

we visit nearby Warwick and its fine medieval castle. 

Wed 24th: Day Tour to Oxford – Althorp Estate (Lady Diana) 

We start the morning with a visit to the university city of Oxford. It has been home to 

royalty and scholars for centuries and we can still experience that charm as we enjoy 

a stroll through the city centre and admire the beautiful university buildings. In the 

afternoon we visit the Althorp Estate, home of the Spencer family and the final resting 

place of Lady Diana. 

Thurs 25th: Daventry – Holyhead – Dublin Port - Letterkenny 

After a fantastic time, we leave Daventry and travel North to Holyhead. We board our 

ferry, taking us back to the Emerald Isle.

We start the morning with a visit to the charming fishing village of St.Ives. We then visit

This morning we visit the truly amazing Eden project – a spectacular sight and for 

many a highlight of the tour. We then continue to Swindon for our overnight stay.

Today we continue our journey north to spend the afternoon in the beautiful Lake 

District. Our hotel is located in the centre of Bowness on Windermere, where you can

A tour to the Blackpool Illuminations is a fantastic autumn break, and still a chance 

to have a seaside holiday experience, even though we are in October. This fantastic 

lighting extravaganza stretches over 10km and uses over one million bulbs, resulting 

in a beautiful display of colour and sparkle. There is a great holiday atmosphere in 

Blackpool, particularly during the Illuminations, and we will be spoilt for choice for 

what to do! 

Fri 14th: Letterkenny - Belfast - Stranraer – Blackpool 

We travel to Belfast for the mid-morning sailing to Stranraer. This evening our 

excitement grows and our eyes widen as we see the sparkle and gleam of the amazing 

Blackpool Illuminations, dubbed as “the greatest free light show on earth”. 

Sat 15th: Free Day in Blackpool 

Today we have a leisurely day in Blackpool to enjoy the many attractions on offer. A 

chance to explore the ‘Golden Mile’, walk along one of Blackpool’s three Piers, or visit 

the iconic Blackpool Tower, where we can travel 518ft to the glass floor at the top or 

perhaps take a waltz around the magnificent tower ballroom.

A Sunday morning at leisure in Blackpool. In the afternoon we have the option of a 

visit to the scenic seaside town of Southport. This pretty town with the beautiful tree 

lined Lord Street is a regular winner of the Britain in Bloom awards.

This morning we leave our home by the sea, and travel north, stopping in well-known 

Gretna Green, en-route to Stranraer for our ferry home.

before we enjoy our first night’s show with our country stars followed by dancing to 

La Bamba. 

Day 2: Free Day in Athlone – or – Local Day Trip 

A day at our leisure to explore this lively and historic town on the banks of the Shannon, 

with a variety of cafes, bars, and restaurants. Perhaps treat ourselves to a shopping 

spree in the Athlone shopping centre, the newest & largest retail development outside 

Dublin. Or relax and revive ourselves in the hotel’s exclusive spa and wellness centre.

or taking in the breath-taking views of the Lakes, there’s something for everyone on 

this tour. This year we base our tour in the well known Gleneagles Hotel, the home of 

entertainment in Killarney. 

Sun 12th: Letterkenny - Galway - Limerick - Killarney 

From Letterkenny we make our way to Killarney with stops in Sligo, and Bunratty 

en-route. 

Mon 13th: The Ring of Kerry 

Today we tour the famous “Ring of Kerry”. Beginning in Killorglin, famous for the 

“Puck Fair”, and on along the coast to stop at the Scarrif Inn where you can enjoy 

some lunch and the spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean below. We continue on to 

Sneem, Moll’s Gap and Ladies View. 

Tues 14th: The Dingle Peninsula 

A day on the Dingle Peninsula is a truly wonderful day. The town of Dingle is a popular 

fishing town and is also home of the famous “Fungie” the dolphin. The views of the 

Blasket Islands are among the many sights to see as we journey around Slea Head. 

Wed 15th: Free Day– or – Optional Trip to Caha Pass & Gougane Barra 

Today is a free day in Killarney to relax & absorb the atmosphere in this holiday town. 

For anyone who ‘has itchy feet’ and would like to admire more of the surrounding 

scenery, there is an optional excursion. We travel over the Caha Pass where we get 

a spectacular view of Bantry Bay. We then visit St. Finbar’s Monastery in the idyllic 

settings of Gougane Barra on our way back to Killarney. 

Thurs 16th: Killarney - Galway - Letterkenny 

Today we make our journey home with stops en-route and arriving in Letterkenny at 

approx 7.00pm.

Sat 9th: Letterkenny - Sligo - Westport 

We travel into the heart of the West of Ireland today, stopping in Sligo before visiting 

the award-winning “Museum of Country Life” near Castlebar. The Museum is home to 

the National Folklife Collection which represents traditional life in Ireland throughout 

the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. We end our day with the short journey 

to our hotel in the picture perfect town of Westport. 

Sun 10th: Achill Island Day Tour 

Today we travel along the northern shore of Clew Bay before crossing the causeway 

to Achill Island, the largest island off the coast of Ireland. The island is dominated 

by two peaks, Slievemore and Croghaun, and is home to Kildavnet Castle which was 

associated with Granuaile, (Grace O’Malley) the famous “Pirate Queen of the West”. 

Mon 11th: Free Day in Westport – or - Aran Islands Day Tour 

Today is a free day to spend at leisure in this premier tourist town, a chance to stroll 

through the charming town centre, or perhaps visit the beautiful grounds of Westport 

House, or indulge in a pampering treat in the hotel’s ‘Ceder Spa’. For anyone who 

would like to enjoy a day touring we are also offering the option to visit Inis Mor, the 

largest of the three Aran Islands. On the island you have time to visit the magnificent 

Dun Aonghasa, with it’s sheer cliffs and beautiful seascapes. 

Tue 12th: Connemara – Clifden - Galway City Day-Tour 

We start the day by travelling past the foot of Croagh Patrick, through Louisburgh 

and Leenane (setting for the film “The Field”) en-route to our stop in the busy town 

of Clifden. We then continue past “The Quiet Man Cottage & Bridge” as we make our 

way to Galway for a short tour taking in the Spanish Arches, Galway Cathedral, Eyre 

Square, and The Claddagh, before giving you some free time to enjoy this rich cultural 

city, and of course, a bit of shopping. We return to our hotel in Westport for our final 

night. 

Wed 13th: Westport – Foxford Woollen Mills - Sligo - Letterkenny 

After breakfast we bid farewell to Westport and begin our last day of the tour with a 

visit to the Foxford Woollen Mills for a guided tour of the mill, which started in 1892. 

We continue on to Sligo en-route back to Letterkenny

The Summer Festival Race Meeting at the Galway Races is renowned worldwide for its

festival is held over seven days, and is the longest of all race meets held in Ireland and 

the UK, attracting 150,000 race goers! Celebrities can be seen sipping champagne 

by the champagne tent, the sky is dotted with helicopters dropping punters at the 

helipads, and cheers & applause fill the air when even the most conservative of us will 

be heard as the horses round the bend into the home stretch. The Galway Races is a 

festival for everyone, and the infectious festival atmosphere spreads throughout the 

whole of Galway this week. 

Wed 27th: Letterkenny – Sligo – Galway Races – Galway Bay Hotel 

Let’s go racing! We arrive at the famous race course for this afternoon’s card which 

sees the first race off at 3.00pm. For anyone who ‘fancies a flutter’ there are various 

options for placing a bet at the course, or perhaps just enjoy the atmosphere in one of 

the many restaurants, bars, or tents. This evening we check in to our hotel overlooking 

Galway Bay, recently awarded “Best 4 Star Hotel in Ireland 2010”. 

Thur 28th: Ladies Day – Galway Races 

Today we have a leisurely start before we pull on the glad rags and head back to the 

races. Ladies day is traditionally the busiest and most stylish day of the week long 

Galway Racing Festival. Ladies compete for the coveted title of Best Dressed Person 

or Most Elegant Hat. Racing start at 1.50pm and the last race is at 6.00pm when we 

return to our hotel to count our winnings! 

Fri 29th: Galway – Sligo - Letterkenny 

Today we enjoy a free morning in Galway. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade or do 

a bit of shopping. In the afternoon we return via Sligo to arrive back in Letterkenny 

early evening.

the distillery followed by whiskey tasting. After our ‘wee tipple’ we make the short 

journey to the most famous natural wonder in Northern Ireland, The Giant’s Causeway. 

Here we have ample time to walk along the Causeway and browse in the visitors’ 

centre. This afternoon we travel through the rolling ‘Glens of Antrim’, admiring their 

outstanding beauty, before arriving at the Stormont Hotel.

market town of Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, where we will stay for the next 4 nights at 

Lawlors Hotel, right in the centre of town. 

Sat 27th: Cobh & Cork 

Today we travel west to the pretty town of Cobh which overflows with charm and 

history, and is famous as the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic. We then continue 

to Cork, known as the Rebel City. We have some free time in the city centre, ideal for a 

spot of shopping or maybe enjoy a stroll by the River Lee or along Patrick Street with 

plenty of bars, cafes and shops. 

Sun 28th: Free Day - or - Optional Afternoon Visit to Youghal 

We can enjoy a Sunday morning at leisure and in the afternoon have a leisurely 

Sunday afternoon drive to the beautiful and historic town of Youghal. Enjoy a stroll 

under the “Clock-Gate Tower” and along the old town walls, or just enjoy a coffee in 

one of the many cafes as we admire the views. 

Mon 29th: Waterford Crystal Factory Tour – Waterford - Tramore 

Today we make our way to Waterford, home of the famous Waterford Crystal and 

Ireland’s oldest city. After a guided tour of the factory and some time in the shop 

we will see the sights of this Viking city before some free time for lunch and a bit of 

shopping. We return to Dungarvan with a stop in the popular seaside town of Tramore 

en-route. 

Tues 30th: Dungarvan – Dublin - Letterkenny 

We bid farewell to Dungarvan and re-trace our steps back home via Dublin, stopping 

off en-route, with fond memories and new friends.

Every September thousands flock to the spa town of Lisdoonvarna in County Clare 

for the famous “Matchmaking Festival”. Our hotel is the King Thomond Hotel, which

the nightly entertainment at The Hydro Hotel. We plan a day trip to the famous Aran 

Islands as well as a local tour to Kilfenora, Lahinch and The Cliffs of Moher. 

Fri 23rd: Letterkenny - Sligo - Lisdoonvarna 

We make our way to Co. Clare through the beautiful scenery of “The Burren” as we 

travel to Lisdoonvarna for our weekend of music & dancing. After dinner it’s time to 

get those dancing shoes on and take to the floor to dance the night away. 

Sat 24th: Free Day - or - Optional Day Tour to The Aran Islands 

This morning we will travel to Doolin to catch the ferry to Inis Mor, the largest of the 

three Aran Islands. On the island you have time to visit the magnificent Dun Aonghasa, 

with it’s sheer cliffs and beautiful seascapes. We return to our hotel for dinner and 

music in Lisdoonvarna. (Today’s tour is weather permitting) 

Sun 25th: Afternoon Tour to Kilfenora - Lahinch - Cliffs of Moher 

You can enjoy a Sunday morning at leisure and in the afternoon why not join us on our 

trip to historic Kilfenora followed by a visit to the popular seaside town of Lahinch. On 

our return journey we see the famous Cliffs of Moher. 

Mon 26th: Lisdoonvarna - Galway - Letterkenny 

Today we leave Lisdoonvarna and enjoy spectacular views of Galway Bay, before 

we arrive in Galway City. Here we do a short city tour taking in the Spanish Arches, 

Galway Cathedral, Eyre Square, and The Claddagh, before giving you some free time 

to enjoy this rich cultural city, and of course, a bit of shopping. In the afternoon we 

leave Galway for our journey home after a wonderful weekend in Lisdoonvarna.

A day at your leisure to explore the bustling streets of Westport, maybe do a spot of 

shopping, or enjoy a walk in the beautiful grounds of Westport House. For anyone 

who would prefer to sit back and be chauffeured, we have a day tour along the 

northern shore of Clew Bay before crossing the causeway to Achill Island, the largest 

island off the Coast of Ireland. The island is dominated by two peaks, Slievemore 

and Croghaun, and is home to Kildavnet Castle, associated with Granuaile (Grace 

O’Malley) the famous “Pirate-Queen of the West”. We return to our hotel with time to 

relax, enjoy dinner, and another lively night of dancing.

if you need a chance to ‘recharge the batteries’ take a break in the ‘The Orient’, the 

largest food court in Europe, themed as a ship but incorporating designs from around 

the world. 

Tonight we enjoy a “Traditional Christmas Dinner” with all the trimmings followed by 

live music in the bar. 

Sun 27th: Caernarfon – Holyhead – Dublin Port - Letterkenny 

This morning we cross the Menai Bridge onto the Isle of Anglesey for a visit 

to the village with the longest name in the Britain, maybe even the world,

We catch the lunchtime ferry from Holyhead back to Dublin and then home again.

Our 9.00am departure from Letterkenny sees us arrive at Junction One just after 

10.30am to begin our weekend shopping. Later this afternoon we make the short 

journey to our city centre hotel. Tonight you have the option for a night of laughter & 

entertainment at the Grand Opera House located adjacent to our hotel. 

Sun 4th: Belfast - Letterkenny 

Today, why not enjoy a leisurely start to your Sunday morning before taking to the 

shops along Royal Avenue and of course the Castlecourt Shopping Centre. If you 

have had enough shopping, a tour on the “City Sightseeing Bus” is well worth doing, 

taking in the best of Belfast from Stormont, Titanic Quarter, The Shankill and The Falls
