i. Registered Contractors. Any person or company (including subcontractors)<br />

intending to do work under these Contract Documents shall be required to meet<br />

the CITY OF DUBLIN laws for Contractor Registration, if any, contained in the<br />

Codified Ordinances of the CITY OF DUBLIN as applicable to the particular<br />

classification of work to be performed.<br />

ii. Licensed Contractors. <strong>Bid</strong>ders and subcontractors for work requiring licenses<br />

under the O.R.C. shall submit evidence of such licensing in accordance with<br />

O.R.C. Chapter 4740.<br />

iii. Foreign Corporations. Business entities formed outside of the state of <strong>Ohio</strong> shall<br />

present proof of registry with the <strong>Ohio</strong> Secretary of State and demonstrate the<br />

existence of an <strong>Ohio</strong> statutory agent.<br />

c. Income Taxes. All persons or entities performing work under these Contract Documents<br />

shall comply with the requirements set forth in the Codified Ordinances of the CITY OF<br />

DUBLIN.<br />

d. Permits and Regulations ‐ Unless otherwise previously or subsequently specified, the<br />

Contractor shall procure and pay for all permits, licenses, inspections and approvals<br />

necessary for the execution of his contract. The <strong>City</strong> will obtain the required building<br />

permit for permanent structure.<br />

i. The Contractor shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules, orders and<br />

regulations relating to the performance of the work required to complete the<br />

Project.<br />

ii. The Contractor's attention is directed to the "Safety and Health Regulations for<br />

Construction" of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S.<br />

Department of Labor and to its responsibilities thereunder.<br />

3. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS<br />

a. <strong>City</strong> expects the <strong>Bid</strong>der to examine all instructions, forms, terms, and specifications in<br />

the Request for <strong>Bid</strong>s. Each <strong>Bid</strong>der is solely responsible for conducting its own due<br />

diligence and investigation in support of the preparation of <strong>Bid</strong>s, negotiation of<br />

agreements, and the subsequent delivery of all services it will provide. <strong>Bid</strong>der’s failure<br />

to furnish all information or documentation required by the <strong>Bid</strong>ding Documents may<br />

result in the <strong>City</strong> rejecting the <strong>Bid</strong>.<br />

b. Public Information. The <strong>City</strong> considers all information, documentation and other<br />

materials requested to be submitted in response to this solicitation to be a nonconfidential<br />

and/or non‐proprietary nature and therefore subject to public disclosure<br />

under the <strong>Ohio</strong> Public Records Laws except as specifically exempted by those laws.<br />

[O.R.C. Chapter 149].<br />

c. <strong>Bid</strong>der should carefully read the information contained herein. It is the <strong>Bid</strong>der’s<br />

responsibility to submit a complete response to all requirements and questions. Any<br />

information submitted by <strong>Bid</strong>ders shall become the property of the <strong>City</strong> and submitted<br />

at the <strong>Bid</strong>der’s sole expense. The <strong>City</strong> shall not pay any stipend for any submissions<br />
