Sealed tenders are invited for computers and other related Computer Peripherals etc. on rental basis<br />

for 31 Counseling centres (tentative) for B.Ed-2012 counseling from registered, experienced & reputed<br />

firms only. The details are available on university website www.rmlau.ac.in Bids shall be received in the<br />

tender box placed in the office of Finance Officer, <strong>Dr</strong>. R.M.L. <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong> (U.P.)-<br />

224001 by 25-05-2012 upto 3:00 P.M. and shall be opened on 25-05-2012 at 3:30 P.M. Bidders shall note<br />

that counseling will start on 1st June, 2012. Any bid not accompanied with EMD shall not be considered.<br />

Note : Rate shall be inclusive of all taxes such as service tax, freight etc. and all other charges. No other<br />

amount shall be paid in excess of rates given in the above table.<br />

Terms and Conditions:-<br />

1- Firm should have experience of at least 2 years of counseling work of exams like IIT JEE, UPSEE, CPMT,<br />

B.Ed. etc. Firm must attach self attested photocopies of experience certificate and photocopies of<br />

earlier work/purchase orders as proof of experience.<br />

2- Every bidder/tenderer can download the bid document from the university website www.rmlau.ac.in and the<br />

bid document cost Rs. 500/- must be annexed by the bidder in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of<br />

“Finance Officer, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong>, U.P.” payable at <strong>Faizabad</strong>.<br />

Otherwise the bid shall not be considered. The bid document can also be obtained from Store Purchase Section<br />

of university by depositing Rs. 500/- in cash.<br />

3- A sum of rupees 50000/-(refundable) must be annexed by the bidder in the form of demand draft drawn in<br />

favour of “Finance Officer, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong>, U.P.” payable at<br />

<strong>Faizabad</strong> as earnest money deposit (EMD) . Any tender not accompanied with EMD shall not be considered.


4- All system should be brand new with latest processor and windows XP operating system (Dual Core with<br />

2 G.B. RAM or above, Hard Disk 250 G.B. or above).<br />

5- Power Backup has to be compulsorily provided with all PC's individually. The batteries & UPS should be brand<br />

new.<br />

6- Service Engineer(s) should be expert in system troubleshooting as well as LAN Network troubleshooting and<br />

should experience of counseling work.<br />

7- All computers has to be installed at indicated counseling centre before or up 31st May, 2012 by 12:00 noon.<br />

8- Firm will maintain sufficient stock of standby computers at each counseling centre, to meet any emergent<br />

requirement arising out of failure of any computer and other goods.<br />

9- The successful tenderer shall be required to deposit a sum of Rs. 50000/- (Rs. Fifty thousand only) as security<br />

deposit with the university and his EMD of Rs. 50000/- (Rs. Fifty thousand only) shall also remain deposited<br />

as security deposit. Thus an amount of Rs. 100000/- (Rs One Lac only) shall remain deposited with <strong>University</strong><br />

during the operation of contract. It may be distinctly be understood that security money will not carry any<br />

interest.<br />

10- Rates are negotiable.<br />

11- Decision of Vice-Chancellor, <strong>Dr</strong>. <strong>Ram</strong> <strong>Manohar</strong> <strong>Lohia</strong> <strong>Avadh</strong> <strong>University</strong>, <strong>Faizabad</strong> shall be final.<br />

12- Total Counseling Centres are approx 31 and may increase/decrease<br />

13- The number of requirement as given above may vary and will be decided only after the information received<br />

from individual counseling centre(s).<br />

14- The <strong>University</strong> reserves the right to cancel all the tenders without giving any notice or any reason thereof.<br />

15- Rates should be given in the table mentioned in this document and general information should given in<br />

proforma given as appendix-I to this tender document.<br />

16- The university shall not be responsible for any postal delay.<br />
