In the reference 1st read above, orders were issued extending the benefit of
G.O.Ms.No.35, Education, dated 16-1-1981 for preservation of proportionate leave
to the Government Junior Lecturers who were prevented from availing summer
vacation due to their involvement in conduct of examination, Census duty and
election duty and also accord sanction of proportionate Earned Leaves to the Junior
Lecturers for reducing the summer vacation period, due to increase of working days
from 180-220.
2) Various Associations of the Private Aided Junior Colleges viz. Junior
College Lecturers’ Association (Private Aided Junior Colleges), Junior College
Employees’ Association (Aided) and Aided Junior College Employees Association,
A.P. have represented that the Government have extended the benefits of
G.O.Ms.No.35, dated:16-1-1981 for preservation of proportionate leave to Junior
Lecturers, who were prevented from availing summer vacation due to their
involvement in conduct of Examinations, Census duty and Election duty and also
accorded sanction of proportionate Earned Leaves to the Junior Lecturers for
reducing the summer vacation prior due to increase of working days from 180-220
through G.O.Rt.No.421, Higher Education (IE.I) Department, dated:4-6-2001, and
requested to extend the benefit given to the Junior Lecturers working in
Government Junior Colleges in the State in the said GO. to the Teaching and
Nonteaching Staff working in Private Aided Junior Colleges in the State.
3) The Government have examined the representations of these Associations
of Private Aided Junior Colleges and the report of the Director of Intermediate
Education in his letter 3rd read above and hereby extend the orders issued in
G.O.Ms.No.35 Education (H1) Department, dated:16-1-1981 read with
G.O.Rt.No.421, Higher Education (IE.I)Department, dated:4-6-2001 and
G.O.Ms.No.4. Higher Education (IE.I)Department, dated:5-2-2002 for preservation
of proportionate leave from prospective date, to the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff
working in Private Aided Junior Colleges in the State, who are prevented from
availing summer vacations due to their involvement in conduct of Census
Duty/Election Duty/Examinations duty and also due to the enhancement of

working days from 180-220, subject to meeting the expenditure within the budget
provision.
4) The Director of Intermediate Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take further
action in the matter accordingly.
5) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expr.HE) Dept. U.O.
NoteNo.15768/281/Expr.HE/2009,dated:19-9-2009 and
U.O.No.29860/525/Expr. HE/2009, dated:19-11-2009.
