In <strong>the</strong> reference 1st read above, orders were issued extending <strong>the</strong> benefit of<br />

G.O.Ms.No.35, Education, dated 16-1-1981 for preservation of proportionate leave<br />

<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Government Junior Lecturers who were prevented from availing summer<br />

vacation due <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir involvement in conduct of examination, Census duty <strong>and</strong><br />

election duty <strong>and</strong> also accord sanction of proportionate Earned Leaves <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Junior<br />

Lecturers for reducing <strong>the</strong> summer vacation period, due <strong>to</strong> increase of working days<br />

from 180-220.<br />

2) Various Associations of <strong>the</strong> Private Aided Junior Colleges viz. Junior<br />

College Lecturers’ Association (Private Aided Junior Colleges), Junior College<br />

Employees’ Association (Aided) <strong>and</strong> Aided Junior College Employees Association,<br />

A.P. have represented that <strong>the</strong> Government have extended <strong>the</strong> benefits of<br />

G.O.Ms.No.35, dated:16-1-1981 for preservation of proportionate leave <strong>to</strong> Junior<br />

Lecturers, who were prevented from availing summer vacation due <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

involvement in conduct of Examinations, Census duty <strong>and</strong> Election duty <strong>and</strong> also<br />

accorded sanction of proportionate Earned Leaves <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Junior Lecturers for<br />

reducing <strong>the</strong> summer vacation prior due <strong>to</strong> increase of working days from 180-220<br />

through G.O.Rt.No.421, Higher Education (IE.I) Department, dated:4-6-2001, <strong>and</strong><br />

requested <strong>to</strong> extend <strong>the</strong> benefit given <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Junior Lecturers working in<br />

Government Junior Colleges in <strong>the</strong> State in <strong>the</strong> said GO. <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Teach</strong>ing <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>Non</strong>teaching Staff working in Private Aided Junior Colleges in <strong>the</strong> State.<br />

3) The Government have examined <strong>the</strong> representations of <strong>the</strong>se Associations<br />

of Private Aided Junior Colleges <strong>and</strong> <strong>the</strong> report of <strong>the</strong> Direc<strong>to</strong>r of Intermediate<br />

Education in his letter 3rd read above <strong>and</strong> hereby extend <strong>the</strong> orders issued in<br />

G.O.Ms.No.35 Education (H1) Department, dated:16-1-1981 read with<br />

G.O.Rt.No.421, Higher Education (IE.I)Department, dated:4-6-2001 <strong>and</strong><br />

G.O.Ms.No.4. Higher Education (IE.I)Department, dated:5-2-2002 for preservation<br />

of proportionate leave from prospective date, <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Teach</strong>ing <strong>and</strong> <strong>Non</strong>-<strong>Teach</strong>ing staff<br />

working in Private Aided Junior Colleges in <strong>the</strong> State, who are prevented from<br />

availing summer vacations due <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir involvement in conduct of Census<br />

Duty/Election Duty/Examinations duty <strong>and</strong> also due <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> enhancement of


working days from 180-220, subject <strong>to</strong> meeting <strong>the</strong> expenditure within <strong>the</strong> budget<br />

provision.<br />

4) The Direc<strong>to</strong>r of Intermediate Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take fur<strong>the</strong>r<br />

action in <strong>the</strong> matter accordingly.<br />

5) This order issues with <strong>the</strong> concurrence of Finance (Expr.HE) Dept. U.O.<br />

NoteNo.15768/281/Expr.HE/2009,dated:19-9-2009 <strong>and</strong><br />

U.O.No.29860/525/Expr. HE/2009, dated:19-11-2009.<br />
