Government in their G.O reference 3 rd cited have issued BUDGET RELEASE ORDER
[B.R.O] for an amount of Rs 2,50,00,000/- towards Maintenance & Repairs /Construction to
Unit Offices- Construction of additional accommodation to Government Junior College in the
state for the 1 st quarter of the current financial year 2009-2010
In view of the importance of providing the said facilities to the needy colleges the
administrative approval is hereby accorded for Rs 136.71 Lakhs (Rupees one Crore Thirty
Six Lakhs and Seventy One Thousands Only) (District wise as per annexure) the amount is
hereby released to Government Junior Colleges including constructing agencies as noted in
the annexure appended to these proceedings during the financial year 2009-10 towards
Maintenance & Repairs /Construction to Unit Offices- Construction of additional
accommodation
The amount may be debited to the following Head of Account:
“2059 - Public Works - 01- Office Buildings - MH 053 –
Maintenance & Repairs - SH 25 – Buildings of
Intermediate Education - 270 – Minor Works -272 –
Maintenance [NON-PLAN]”
The Principals of above said Government Junior Colleges are hereby informed that
the above sanctioned amount should be incurred without any deviation of rules/procedure of
Andhra Pradesh Financial Code. Any deviation in this regard the Principal will be held
responsible. The work should be completed on or before 30/08/2009. They should submit
the expenditure particulars to the under signed immediately after completion of the work.
Further the Principals are also requested to monitor work. The work-done particulars
should be recorded in ‘M-Book’ duly counter signed by the concerned Engineers of R & B
Department/Panchayat Raj/Zilla Parishad/Housing Board/any other Government Agency &
submit the progress report in the Proforma appended to these proceedings every fortnight
so as to submit the same to the Government. Any deviation in the matter will be viewed
seriously and all the Officers concerned will be held responsible.
The Director of Works and Accounts, Hyderabad is requested to authorize the
amount to the respective agencies as mentioned their names in the annexure appended for
honoring the claims.
The receipt of these proceedings should be acknowledged
