Padua, Italy from 7 to 12 April <strong>2013</strong>. The Council of Research<br />

and Experiments <strong>in</strong> Agriculture, Apiculture and Sericulture Unit of<br />

Bologna, Padua seat, Italy is host<strong>in</strong>g the meet<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> collaboration<br />

with the Black, Caspian Seas and Central Asia Silk Association<br />

(<strong>BACSA</strong>).<br />

The ma<strong>in</strong> topics of this Conference will be:<br />

The BISERICA <strong>2013</strong> conference is opened to all those<br />

<strong>in</strong>volved and <strong>in</strong>terested <strong>in</strong> sericulture <strong>in</strong>dustry - sericulturists,<br />

agricultural and <strong>in</strong>dustrial producers of cocoons, silk and other<br />

sericultural products, adm<strong>in</strong>istrators, developers, entrepreneurs,<br />

traders, scientists and technicians, work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> each step or l<strong>in</strong>k of<br />

production and trade cha<strong>in</strong>s.<br />

We appreciate present<strong>in</strong>g contributions on the ma<strong>in</strong><br />

Conference topics as well as country reports, science and<br />

technology papers <strong>in</strong> the field of mulberry and non-mulberry<br />

silkworms, cocoon and silk production, pathology, breed<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

bacology, us<strong>in</strong>g silkworm and mulberry for non-textile purposes,<br />

Call for papers<br />

Participants who wish to present papers are <strong>in</strong>vited to<br />

submit an abstract first. The abstracts must be written <strong>in</strong><br />

English and sent to Prof. Dr. Panomir Tzenov by the e-<br />

mail, with the Abstract Submission Form.<br />

Papers: In formats of A4, s<strong>in</strong>gle l<strong>in</strong>e, Times New Roman,<br />

font 12, the text not exceed<strong>in</strong>g 15 pages (tables and<br />

The first half of April is considered as spr<strong>in</strong>g season <strong>in</strong><br />

Northern Italy. Average day temperature ranges usually<br />

10 - 20 o C.<br />

Travel: The foreign conference participants may take<br />

flight to Venice, where CRA will arrange their meet<strong>in</strong>g and<br />
