the All‐State first football team (1,029 yards rushing, 108 carries, 15 TDs,
team high 134 tackles, 8 TFL, 5 sacks, 7 FF, 4FR, 2 interceptions)

Congratulations to Alvin Briggs on his selection as one of eight Alabama
coaches for the Alabama‐Mississippi All‐Star Game in Mobile in December,
2011.
The month of January has been designated by Alabama Association of
School Boards as “Board Member Appreciation Month”. Our Board
members were honored at the January 18, 2011, Board of Education
meeting for their tireless service to the students, faculty, staff and
administration of Florence City Schools. We all greatly appreciate our
Board members!
