Recent endorsements include the National Parliament of Portugal, General Convention of the Episcopal Church in the USA, and India’s spiritual and social leader, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (widely known as Amma). 2011 will mark a new phase in the Earth Charter Initiative. After ten years serving as a co-chair of the Steering Committee and the ECI Council, Steven Rockefeller will be stepping down from that position at the end of 2010. ECA provides donors with a vehicle for making charitable contributions in support of ECI.
