The NiceWay Sensor is also ideal for increasing 

the thermal effi ciency of the house, 

reducing the effects of sunlight in hot climates 

and taking maximum advantage of it in cold 

climates so as to assure energy savings 

and reductions in polluting emissions. 

The NiceWay Sensor measures the lighting 

condition while ignoring peak values caused 

for example by people’s shadows or rapidly 

moving clouds. 

The NiceWay Sensor is able to control 

the opening of shutters and sun awnings 

so as to maintain the level of sunlight or ambient 

lighting within the desired limits. It automatically 

sends closure commands if the light is too strong 

or opening commands if the light is too weak. 

The WMS01ST model can regulate ambient 

temperature by controlling the movement 

of the automation on the basis of the temperature 

value measured in the room.

Light Sensor Version 

Thanks to the suction cup support, it can be stuck 

on the window at a specifi c height. 

The sensor detects the level of internal brightness, 

compares it with the set brightness value 

and automatically adjusts the shutter opening 

or closing accordingly. 

For instance, when the brightness exceeds 

the maximum set threshold, the sensor lowers 

the automations (awnings or shutters) until 

the sensor is shaded. Once the sensor is 

in the shade, the shutter rises until it is in the light 

once more, enabling it to keep monitoring 

the brightness level. 


Light + Temperature Sensor Version 

The required room temperature can be set 

and maintained using the heat and light supplied 

by the sun. 

For example, in winter mode, if the temperature 

falls below the set threshold and outside 

it is sunny, the sensor automatically raises 

the shutters or awnings, allowing the light 

to enter to provide warmth, and vice-versa.

The design for total integration guarantees:

of a single Nice-BTicino system; 

• ease of installation: INB can be installed 

in any junction box thanks to its compact 

dimensions; 

• modular system with provision 

for expansion without the need for further 

masonry work and rationalised wiring: 

additional devices can easily be integrated 

without laying new cables and via a single 

supervision device; 

• maximum flexibility and safety: 

within the Bus network, each device has 

a unique identifi cation by the assignment 

of a specifi c value during programming, 

which enables each device to be distinguished 

from the others belonging to the same “TTBus” 

network or “BusT4” network connected 

to the same interface. 

To add further devices later as required, 

each one can simply be assigned to a free 

address, connected to the Bus, and confi gured

1. Solar: the time of sunrise and sunset changes 

during the year: how is it possible to wake up always 

with the same light in the room, lower the shutters 

or roll up the awnings at sunset at the actual time 

that the sun goes down, without having to reprogram 

the event according to the changing seasons? 

Planotime automatically regulates at the changing 

time of sunrise and sunset by simply inserting 

the latitude when you fi rst program the unit! 

2. Random: it opens and closes the shutters 

at random within a pre-establish time range to make it 

appear that someone is at home when you are absent, 

thus discouraging break-in attempts. 

3. Open partially: allows you to partially open 

or close the rolling shutter simply by setting 

the opening time so as to always have the right light. 

4. MemoGroup: allows you to simultaneously control 

up to 6 independent automation units, to switch 

on multiple motors and enable different functions 

to be associated to them; for instance, activation 

of the “Solar” function for the bedroom shutters only 

and of the “Random” function for the shutters facing

5. Easy program: makes it extremely easy to program 

a large number of events; the system keeps a log

motor settings to be re-set or the replacement of the remote 

control if lost or broken without having to go to the client.
