<strong>Summer</strong> in the <strong>City</strong> 2012<br />

all-day elementary School <strong>Camp</strong>s<br />

ages 6 - 10 as <strong>of</strong> September 1, 2012<br />

Give your kids a summer they will never forget! <strong>Gaithersburg</strong> All-day Elementary <strong>Camp</strong>s<br />

boast a variety <strong>of</strong> fun-filled activities that will keep your children on their toes. <strong>Camp</strong>ers will<br />

participate in an array <strong>of</strong> sports, arts and crafts, games, team building exercises, and special<br />

events. All participants go swimming multiple times a week at the Water Park at Bohrer<br />

Park. <strong>Camp</strong>ers also get to explore exciting activities <strong>of</strong>f-site during our unique and varied<br />

field trips. Although the actual field trips have not yet been confirmed, campers generally<br />

visit Bowl America, Domino’s, the movies, and Greenbrier State Park. Please note that field<br />

trips vary according to session and may not be scheduled every week. Only one <strong>of</strong>f site<br />

trip or special activity is scheduled per session. There are no additional fees for field trips.<br />

extended care<br />

The option <strong>of</strong> extended care from 4 – 6 p.m. is available at the All-day Elementary School<br />

<strong>Camp</strong>s. The fee for extended care is in addition to the regular camp fee. During extended<br />

care, your child will participate in supervised free play. Although extended care does not<br />

include formal programming, campers still have the opportunity to enjoy exciting games,<br />

sports, and arts and crafts projects.<br />
