The new CLS Shooting Brake is already a sensational sight
in its standard-specification guise. Alongside its expressive
lines there are various exterior characteristics to underline
this impression, among them the bi-xenon headlamps
and tail lights featuring LED technology. Beneath the striking
shell lie some equally impressive technologies. These
include the ATTENTION ASSIST system, the PRE-SAFE®
system, NECK-PRO head restraints for the driver and
front passenger, plus a total of nine airbags.
More fun at the wheel is the promise from the DIRECT
CONTROL suspension, the Direct-Steer system and
DIRECT SELECT gearshift with steering-wheel paddles.
The atmosphere in the interior is also discreetly sporty,
thanks to features such as a multifunction steering wheel
in nappa leather, plus fine materials and surfaces in silver
chrome. There are also various carefully coordinated
colour schemes available to choose from for the interior.
