Design
Every line a masterpiece. The new CLS Shooting Brake has a unique appearance. With
its expressive roof line flowing down at the tail end it defines an entirely new vehicle
class. Its innovative design is emphasised by a broad shoulderline with low side windows.
The CLS Shooting Brake blends sportiness with the highest quality feel and individuality.
A wide selection of colours shows off the new style icon to optimum advantage for every
taste. What’s more, the entire interior delights with details reminiscent of hand-finishing,
authentic materials and first-class workmanship. The load compartment with an optional
designo wood load compartment floor made of open-pore American cherry, featuring
black work lends the new CLS Shooting Brake a unique ambience.

Agility
The CLS-Class Shooting Brake. A new era takes shape
The performance curve is soaring upwards. The new CLS Shooting Brake is on the
racing line in every respect. Highly efficient latest-generation diesel and petrol engines
place maximum output and torque at the driver’s disposal over the entire engine speed
range. Shift paddles on the steering wheel, the standard-specification 7G-TRONIC PLUS
automatic transmission and the particularly precisely tuned Direct-Steer system ensure
an intensive driving feel. With the optionally available AIRMATIC air suspension you can
choose manually between a comfortable and a sporty suspension tuning. An especially
intensive relationship with the road is promised by the DIRECT CONTROL suspension.
The damping system automatically adapts to the driving situation and improves the stability
of the vehicle.

Safety
Very safe: top marks for style and technology alike. The new CLS Shooting Brake is
equipped with state-of-the-art safety technologies. Depending on the equipment, numerous
cameras, sensors and radar systems can monitor the current traffic conditions and give a
warning if necessary. The preventive occupant protection system PRE-SAFE® can recognise
hazardous situations ahead of you and within fractions of a second it can initiate the decisive
safety measures. The CLS Shooting Brake can even have an influence on your driving
style. If required the various assistance systems send visual, acoustic and haptic warnings
to the driver or actively intervene in the driving process. The optional Intelligent Light
System featuring LED High Performance technology blends good looks with good vision
and automatically adapts to different traffic conditions. There could hardly be a more
attractive path to better handling safety.

Ride comfort
Comfort in its finest form. As well as its expressive appearance, the new CLS Shooting
Brake impresses above all with its sporty ambience of wellbeing. The harmonious interior
design extends from the steering wheel to the boot sill, through the entire vehicle interior.
The generous amount of space available makes it the ideal vehicle for travelling on long
journeys for up to five people. With the optional active multicontour seats, including a
massage function, you will be even more relaxed when on the road. Thanks to the elegantly
designed load compartment there are no restrictions when it comes to luggage, either.
Even saving fuel is eminently pleasant: the standard-specification ECO start/stop function
automatically turns off the engine when the vehicle is at a standstill. And just in case you
should ever want to park the new CLS Shooting Brake, the optional Active Parking Assist,
including PARKTRONIC, looks for a suitable space and supports the parking procedure.

A load compartment like an interior: the CLS Shooting Brake
boasts a unique area for luggage. The optionally available
designo wood floor made of open-pore American cherry
with black work, plus aluminium rails and the EASY-PACK
load-securing kit create an interior with the highest quality
appeal. Exclusive details round off the harmonious interior
design: the trimmed beltline on the doors is adorned with
lavish seams.
Attractive possessions should be kept nice and tidy – this
is easy with the side nets for stowing away smaller items.
The standard-specification load-compartment cover protects
your luggage from both sunlight and prying eyes.
With the standard-fit EASY-PACK load-securing kit an additional
load compartment can be created in next to no time
by folding the rear seat elements. The new CLS Shooting
Brake then places up to 1550 litres of load compartment
capacity at your disposal.

Standard equipment
The new CLS Shooting Brake is already a sensational sight
in its standard-specification guise. Alongside its expressive
lines there are various exterior characteristics to underline
this impression, among them the bi-xenon headlamps
and tail lights featuring LED technology. Beneath the striking
shell lie some equally impressive technologies. These
include the ATTENTION ASSIST system, the PRE-SAFE®
system, NECK-PRO head restraints for the driver and
front passenger, plus a total of nine airbags.
More fun at the wheel is the promise from the DIRECT
CONTROL suspension, the Direct-Steer system and
DIRECT SELECT gearshift with steering-wheel paddles.
The atmosphere in the interior is also discreetly sporty,
thanks to features such as a multifunction steering wheel
in nappa leather, plus fine materials and surfaces in silver
chrome. There are also various carefully coordinated
colour schemes available to choose from for the interior.

Optional extras
You have your own style, and with individual optional extras
your CLS Shooting Brake will match it one hundred percent.
The LED Intelligent Light System with dynamic LED High
Performance headlamps impresses with its unmistakeable
design, just as it does with optimum light emission yet
minimal electrical current consumption. The further increase
in safety comes courtesy of features such as the Driving
Assistance package Plus, including DISTRONIC PLUS, the
PRE-SAFE® Brake, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Active
Blind Spot Assist.
Comfort can also be enhanced, as in the case of safety.
The reversing camera, for instance, helps with manoeuvring.
You can leave the business of entering a parking space to
the Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC: you now only
need to apply the accelerator and brake pedals. To create
a special atmosphere in the interior you can select the
ambient lighting, which can be set to three colour moods.
For an even more dynamic look the Exterior Sports package
and the AMG Sports package are the perfect choice.
