Meet the team<br />

Tempus Media <strong>and</strong> Brosna Press, using their combined expertise in<br />

journalism, marketing, design, print <strong>and</strong> production have created a<br />

new-look <strong>Midl<strong>and</strong></strong>s <strong>Arts</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Culture</strong> <strong>Magazine</strong>.<br />

Tempus Media was established at the height of the<br />

recession in September 2009 as the founders saw<br />

an opening for a top quality, good value media<br />

company in a challenging marketplace for business<br />

<strong>and</strong> Government. <strong>Midl<strong>and</strong></strong>s-based Tempus Media<br />

specialises in five key areas - Publishing/<br />

Copywriting, Public Relations, Media Training,<br />

Lobbying, <strong>and</strong> Business Crisis Management.<br />

Angela has more than 15 years’ experience in the<br />

publishing industry as a Journalist, Foreign<br />

Correspondent, Editor, Group Editor <strong>and</strong> General<br />

Manager for trade, local <strong>and</strong> national press in<br />

Irel<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> the UK. Angela has excellent local<br />

knowledge as she was previously Editor of the<br />

Athlone Voice <strong>and</strong> has an enviable list of contacts<br />

throughout the country, built up during her time as<br />

Group Editor for 13 River Media newspaper titles.<br />

She also has a wealth of experience launching new<br />

publications responsible for content, layout <strong>and</strong><br />

templates having brought a number of new River<br />

Media titles to market in ’07.<br />

Deputy Editor: BRIEGE MADDEN<br />

Briege is a trained journalist who has worked for<br />

local newspapers for close to four years. After<br />

attaining her BA Creative Writing & Media Studies<br />

degree she started her career at The Athlone Voice<br />

before taking up a more senior role at the Cavan<br />

Post. She is Communications & Marketing Assistant<br />

for Tempus Media <strong>and</strong> is the lead consultant on a<br />

number of important Public Relations contracts.<br />

Briege is also an avid poet, short story writer<br />

<strong>and</strong> artist.<br />

Creative Design <strong>and</strong> Print<br />

Located in the heart of the midl<strong>and</strong>s, Brosna Press<br />

has been providing a nationwide client-base with<br />

creative, high quality design <strong>and</strong> print for over 50<br />

years. Its Irish Print Award acknowledges the company’s<br />

commitment to the pursuit of excellence in print<br />

<strong>and</strong> creativity in design. Clients in the arts sector<br />

Creative Director Diarmuid Guinan holds<br />

a BDes, <strong>and</strong> has more than 18 years professional<br />

experience in graphic design <strong>and</strong> printing. He<br />

manages a highly creative <strong>and</strong> experienced design<br />

team including Andrew Moore, BDes, Senior<br />

Designer, Ann Quinlan, BDes, Senior Designer<br />

<strong>and</strong> the highly experienced Mary Egan. Managing<br />

Director Ciaran Guinan holds a Diploma in Print<br />

Management <strong>and</strong> has more than 25 years<br />

professional experience in the print industry.<br />

The production staff at Brosna Press are<br />

all highly skilled press operators <strong>and</strong> print<br />

finishing specialists.<br />
