The Sensor Makes the Difference
CdTe-CMOS X-ray Imaging
As a developer we are renowned for innovation.
As a manufacturer our watchword is quality.
As a business partner we guarantee commitment.

CEOs message:
Ajat is dedicated to research, development and in-house production of
advanced radiological digital imaging sensors. Through consistent and
focused research and development we pioneer CdTe based high definition
digital imaging sensors. Since the early days, we have placed in the market
more than 1,000 sensors and have generated some breakthrough products
including CdTe sensors operating in charge integration, TDI or energy
dispersive photon counting mode with small pixel size.
Our sensors serve the dental (2D, 3D imaging), medical
and industrial sectors. We are inclined towards
our customer’s needs and customization to specific
requirements of even challenging applications.
Ajat thrives to continuously improve the quality of
its imaging products, increase functionality and reduce
the cost of manufacturing by introducing smart
processes, automation and create a new paradigm
of affordable high quality.
Our strategy is based on expert human resources,
know-how, in-house manufacturing and patented
technology.
We value our customers and we try to react always
with enthusiasm, professionalism and respect
towards their needs. Finally, we believe in relationships
and see that advanced technologies, such as
the CdTe-CMOS or CdZnTe-CMOS, reach the market
and society most effectively through partnerships.
Konstantinos Spartiotis CEO
Ajat operates under the ISO13485:2003 standard.

Innovative CdTe Sensor Technology
Direct Conversion
X-ray absorption efficiency (typical material thicknesses)
Innovative CdTe sensor technology converts X-rays
directly to electronic signals. Since X-rays are not
converted into light, less blurring occurs and picture
clarity and contrast are greatly enhanced.
