At Nachod the Austrians tried to hit the Prussians using their new schock column tactics as the Prussians emerged from a narrow defile. The
columns foundered in the face of the Prussians' needle gun armed, looser formations, which were able to take advantge of the micro-terrain and
deliver a far greater volume of fire. The terrain was researched during the battlefield tour in the suymmer of 2012 and the rules are Regimental Fire
and Fury with significant amendments which reflect the different tactical methods employed, and the significant Prussian advantage in command
and control.
