SECTOR 1 MEETING HELD AT THE BARN CHURCH<br />

TUESDAY <strong>10</strong> <strong>July</strong> <strong>2012</strong> AT 19h00.<br />

Notice of the meeting was given at the previous meeting and was sent out by way of e-mail.<br />

29 th – Meeting held with Metro regarding vagrants in greenbelt areas and Golden Harvest park

Island Cove – (Nico & Deon) – 28 May & 28 June – House robbery with motor vehicle thefts, looking to set<br />

up RA with assistance from shadow councillor<br />

Friends of Golden Harvest (Sandy & Dave) – On going initiative to reduce incidents within the park, note<br />

from shadow councillor to call 011-490-7553 (City Power Risk Control) in the event of actual or suspected<br />

cable theft within the park

Councillor has been involved with the successful implementation of the Blairgowrie RA – for any residents<br />

Sector Confusion<br />

SAPS statistics for Sector 1 are including Randpark Ridge in the Sector statistics report currently.<br />

Parts of Randpark Ridge falls under sector 2 and therefore is causing incorrect figures being<br />

generated. CPF chairman to email Carmel and Kim to follow up<br />

309 dockets filed, 43 successful, 143 withdrawn<br />

419 hrs completed by reservists, more reservists are needed and encouraged to join the training<br />

program


Possible illegal pub<br />

Musos Pub was investigated and found to be now operating only as a paintball range and selling cool<br />

drinks. Neil to advise if there any further concerns<br />

Property Evaluations in Bromhof<br />

The Bromhof community was made aware that should they have received a rates change based on<br />

property evaluations made by the council they may contact Julia for the details of a local resident<br />

willing to assist in doing re-evaluations that may be submitted with their appeals<br />

Please communicate to your communities to call the Police on the Honeydew Operation room number<br />

011 801-8613/14/15 rather than making use of the cell phones. Ask for an IR number to ensure that<br />

your call is logged.<br />
