Track One — Federal Law<br />

with the Great Ones<br />

The “Federal Law with the Great Ones: Past<br />

Presidents, Hall of Famers and All-Stars” track<br />

will feature some of the top federal lawyers in<br />

the state. Come hear Racehorce Haynes, Jack<br />

Zimmerman, Richard Anderson, and Robert<br />

Hirschhorn, among others. Topics will include<br />

voir dire, grand jury practice, due process and<br />

the war on terror, and sentencing guidelines.<br />

Track Two — State Appellate<br />

Adocacy<br />

The “State Appellate Advocacy” track will focus<br />

exclusively on appellate procedure in the state<br />

courts.Topics will include motion for new trial,<br />

notice of appeal, brief writing, PDR drafting, oral<br />

argument, and motions for rehearing. Attendees<br />

will learn form the best appellate lawyers in<br />
