Age categories
Children under the age of 6 (ID required) travel free of charge if accompanied by a parent.
Exceptions to this rule are the areas of Aela, Cristins, Provulèr, Languard, Survih, Müsella and
Bügls. Children aged between 6 and 12 (ID required) pay the children's tariff. Adolescents aged
between 13 and 17 (ID required) pay the adolescent tariff. From the age of 18, the adult tariff
applies.
The date on which the ticket is issued governs the allocation to an age category. Exception: If, in
the case of 2 and 3-year season tickets, the next higher age category is going to be reached while
the ticket is valid, the higher price is already charged when the ticket is sold. Example: If a 12-yearold
child wants to buy a 2-year ticket before his 13th birthday, the tariff for adolescents will already
be applied.
A valid identity document or card with a photo must be available to show to the mountain cableway
staff if requested.
Group discount
From 15 tickets at the adult, adolescent and children's tariff, a group rebate of 10% is
granted. The tickets must be valid for the same period and from the same date onwards. There is
only entitlement to the rebate if all the tickets are ordered 24 hours in advance in writing from the
issuing counter of the mountain cableways.
ENGADINcard (data-carrier for tickets)
The ENGADINcard is issued for a price of CHF 10.-. It will be bought back by any issuing counter
for CHF 10.- if all the following preconditions are cumulatively fulfilled:
• The ENGADINcard is neither signed nor damaged.
• The card-holder gives the ENGADINcard back to an issuing counter within 72 hours after
expiry of the booked ticket. If the 72-hour return period has expired, the ENGADIN St. Moritz
Mountain Pool is no longer obliged to buy the card back against compensation.
• The card-holder with the relevant ENGADINcard is not an ENGADINcard member (i.e. he or
she has not registered with DMC ENGADINcard AG).
