Sometimes it seems like forever. Sometimes, not nearly long enough ! That doesn’t matter. What DOES matter are those of us who: Volunteer to ~ Listen to concerns of others Sing their praises as they learn to accept their hearing loss Build a Hearing Loss chapter for support Plant a seed of self-confidence Volunteer to~ Print information to share Stick labels on a newsletters Drive to the board meetings Speak to eager- to- learn students , any and ALL age groups Volunteer to~ Serve in your community, offer time to Communicate clearly and effectively Make visible , the invisible condition of hearing loss ~ reach out to others, their families and friends ~ Educate the community. ~ And Continue to learn new ways to help others.
