Special Event: Sri Vasantha Lakshmi Havana Purvaka Nava Chandi
Yagyas.
When: From April 11 th – 19 th 2013.
Where: At VYC, Vijayawada in India (The Home of mother divine)

Vedic Yagya Center will be performing Special Poojas (the rituals such as Abhishekam -
the holy bathing ceremonies to the Deities and Homas - the fire ceremonies with the
offerings of lotus flowers, Honey, some special herbs) during the Vasantha Navarathri - the
Nine Sacred Nights of Spring. The schedule of various events by Vedic Yagya Center is as
follows:
During Vasantha Navarathri, Nature which is the Representation of God is in the most
Generous Form like a mother is to the child. Hence the Mother Divine is prayed to and Her
blessings are sought after. Mother Divine is known by innumerable names, one of which is -
Sri Mahalakshmi (The great Goddess of wealth & Prosperity). She is offered lotus flowers:
"Padmapriye Padmini Padmahaste Padmalaye, Padmadalaya dakshi......"
(One who resides in Lotus, Looks like Lotus, Smells like lotus, loves & holds lotus flowers,
and has eyes that are shaped like lotus petals). According to the scriptures Mantra
Maharnava, the Lakshmi Homas (the fire ceremony with lotus flowers) offered with
complete love, faith and devotion to the Divine Mother during this Holy Vasantha
Navarathri time is extremely propitious. The Great Goddess showers prosperity to all
(Growth in riches, success in business, progress in all parts of life, better financial
opportunities, gaining lost wealth & glory etc.)
Sponsorship information:
[ ] Sponsorship for Level 1: Any single day sponsorship is $108.00 for an individual or
$151.00 for a family (not exceeding 4 members). You may choose any one day between the dates
April 11 th to 18 th 2013. This does not include Sri Maha Lakshmi Homa with 1008 Lotuses.
[ ] Sponsorship for Level 2: All nine days is $252.00/9 days for an individual or $351.00
/9 days for a family (not exceeding 4 members). This does not include Sri Maha Lakshmi
Homa with 1008 Lotuses.
[ ] Sponsorship for Level 3: Sponsorship of Sri Maha Lakshmi Homa on any one chosen
day is $301.00/per day for an individual or a family (not exceeding 4 members) both. You can
choose to do on any one day starting from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on...up to 8th day only (From 11 th to
18 th April 2013 only). Special offer - Sponsorship of Sri Maha Lakshmi Homa all nine days is
$2501.00/ 9 days for both- an individual or a family (not exceeding 4 members). Covers
Sponsorship of Sri Maha Lakshmi Homa events done during all the nine days from 11 th to 18 th April
2013.

Pooja and Yagya Schedule:
04/11/2013 (Thursday) from 6:00 AM to 8:00 A.M - Swastivachanam Ganapathi
Homa with 1008 modakas (Specially cooked, steamed rice flour balls) to remove obstacles
and fulfill all your desires.
This will be performed at the beginning of the Sri Vasantha Lakshmi Havana Purvaka Nava
Chandi Yagya.
Daily on all the eight days (from 04/11/2013 Thursday to 04/18/2013 Thursday) from 8:00
A.M to 2:00 PM. Morning Pooja, Abhishekam (Holy bathing ceremony to the Goddesses of
Wealth and Prosperity, Goddess Lakshmi). This is then followed by Chandi Homa and
Maha Lakshmi Homa (Auspicious fire ceremony) with 1008 red lotus flowers & honey. This
program will conclude with the Naivedyam (Holy Food Offering to the Goddess), Divya
Archana, Pooja and Maha Mangalarathi & Prasadam distribution. Please note: In case we
are unable to find 1008 red lotuses, we will be using red roses in lieu of red lotuses.

Adi Lakshmi Devi (Goddess of health)
Adilakshmi (First Form): 04/11/2013 (Thursday) – Specialty of the day: Sacred
Bathing ceremony to the Goddess Adilakshmi (for liberation and attaining salvation) with
Holy Turmeric powder. Benefits include General prosperity, wealth, peace & harmony.
Dhanya Lakshmi Devi (Goddess of food)
Dhanyalakshmi (Second Form): 04/12/2013 (Friday) - Specialty of the day:
Sacred Bathing ceremony to the goddess Dhanyalakshmi (for food) with pure honey.

Benefits include Good Health, relief from long term illnesses and boost life forces &
rejuvenate energy.
Dhairya Lakshmi Devi (Goddess of Courage)
Dhairyalakshmi (Third Form): 04/13/2013 (Saturday) - Specialty of the day:
Sacred Bathing ceremony to the goddess Dhairyalakshmi (for courage) with Bilwa leaves
and other flowers. Benefits include tremendous courage, and positive approach towards
things in life stimulated.
Gaja Lakshmi Devi (Goddess of Good Luck).
Gajalakshmi (Fourth Form): 04/14/2013 (Sunday) - Specialty of the day: Sacred
Bathing ceremony to the goddess Gajalakshmi (for achieving goals) with herbal (tunga
mustha) water. Benefits include gain of wealth & power. Ideal for persons seeking success

Santana Lakshmi Devi (Goddess of Children/fertility)
Santhanalakshmi (Fifth Form): 04/15/2013 (Monday) - Specialty of the day:

Sri Rama Navami 04/19/2013 (Friday) - Sacred Bathing ceremony to the goddess

Lakshmi Purvaka Havan & Nava Chandi Yagyas.

Sri Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam: Sri Rama Navami is also special because it’s Birthday
of the Lord Sri Rama and also the sacred day of His Holy Matrimony too. Therefore, the marriage
ceremony of the Goddess, Divine Mother Sita and Lord Sri Rama for Vishwa Shanti (Global peace
and harmony) will be celebrated grandly.
Conclusion of this event Maha purnahuti : Maha Purnahuti (final offerings) and Avabrutha
(holy water from all Kalashas will be Sprinkled on all devotees / sponsors of these Yagyas, and in all
directions of this universe for Global peace, harmony and prosperity.
