Lots of good, clean fun with this amazing<br />
drawing mat that lets you draw water<br />
pictures with the special pen – and draw<br />
a track for Lightning McQueen to race<br />
around the mat! We recommend that you<br />
and your child play with the toy together<br />
at first, so that they will be familiar with<br />
it when playing on their own.<br />

INSERTING THE BATTERIES<br />
INTO LIGHTNING MCQUEEN<br />
Important: battery replacement must be performed by an adult.<br />
Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the bottom half of the car.<br />
Using a cross headed screwdriver remove the cover and insert 2 x AA/LR 6<br />
(1.5v) batteries, ensuring that the batteries are correctly positioned. Replace the<br />
battery covers and screw firmly into position.<br />

How to Use<br />
Unscrew the top of the pen and the roller in a clockwise direction<br />
1 and fill with clean, cold water 2. Use the pen and roller to<br />
draw on the area within the printed border 3. Draw the road<br />
track with the special roller 4 and then activate the Lightning<br />
McQueen car by moving the ON/OFF switch to the ‘ON’ position<br />
5. The car will follow the road track 6 until it runs out, dries<br />
or fades. If it loses the track, the car will turn and search until it<br />
picks up another track or drawing. If it fails to find another track/<br />
drawing within 20 seconds, the car will automatically stop to<br />
conserve battery life; to reactivate simply place the car back onto<br />
the track or switch it off and on again. Important! To conserve<br />
battery life, always switch off after use.<br />
For best results, draw the track slowly to ensure an even<br />
impression for the car’s water sensor to follow; as it fades, the<br />
sensor will not recognise the track as easily. Please Note: we<br />
recommend the mat is placed on a smooth, hard and flat surface<br />
for optimum performance.<br />
Important!<br />
Only use the special pen or roller supplied to draw on the mat’s<br />
surface. Only use clean water in the pen or the roller and always<br />
ensure that both are drained/emptied after use. Do not machine<br />
wash. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron. Do not use detergents.<br />
Heat will damage the special coating on your mat. Hand wash<br />
only, using a sponge with a gentle dabbing motion. This product<br />
is not a bath toy.<br />
