Powersports Forged Piston Advantage<br />
Wiseco leads the performance aftermarket by producing the highest quality<br />
forged pistons for Dirt Bikes, ATV’s, Snowmobiles, Outboard Marine, and<br />
Motorcycles right here in the USA. Wiseco is unique because we forge all of<br />
our own pistons in house, and produce all of our own forge tooling right here<br />
in the USA. This allows us to control all aspects of our manufacturing process<br />
from raw bar to skirt coating finished parts.<br />
In addition, in-house dyno testing gives Wiseco the ability to develop state-ofthe-art<br />
technology such as new shapes, coatings, and components, and lead<br />
the industry through rigorous R&D. Linking all segments of Wiseco’s organization<br />
through design, testing, manufacturing, and distribution allows us to fulfill<br />
market needs with minimum lead-times.<br />
Piston <strong>Engine</strong>ering / ArmorGlide Coating<br />
Some of our forged pistons offer our new ArmorGlide skirt coating, which is the<br />
result of testing, development, and benchmarking through Wiseco’s rigorous in-house<br />
dyno program. The outcome is the ultimate in skirt coating toughness, lubrication,<br />
and bond technology working together to minimize friction, maximize horsepower,<br />
and provide improved wear resistance. Not only is ArmorGlide a high-tech lubricant<br />
that reduces friction, but it also allows the piston to be fitted tighter within the bore<br />
allowing a better ring seal and reduced noise from piston rock.<br />

Top End Piston Kits<br />
Wiseco's complete top end Piston Kits are offered for nearly every popular<br />
application in the powersports market. These kits contain everything you need<br />
to complete your rebuild the right way, the first time. High quality parts specifically<br />
chosen by us to match our forged pistons are included in this kit for easy<br />
one stop shopping.<br />
• 4-stroke kits feature a ‘race-ready’ dome finish with smooth edges for improved<br />
combustion flow. Horizontal slot-pin oiling reduces friction and provides scuff<br />
resistance, along with a pressure seal groove for maximum ring seal.<br />
• Most PK/SK/WK/VT kits from Wiseco feature a complete top end gasket kit<br />
that gives you everything you need to complete your rebuild from premium<br />
materials.<br />
• 4-stroke race applications feature Wiseco’s ArmorGlide skirt coating to<br />
provide reduced friction and noise to contribute to increased horsepower.<br />
• Dedicated forgings used for superior strength to weight ratio utilizing aerospace<br />
