How The Back-Up works
The Back-Up is designed to complement your current ventilation system. After placing
The Back-Up and connecting an exhaust and intake hose with carbon filter it guards
continuously while keeping the battery fully charged. Only when normal ventilation
stops by power failure, The Back-Up automatically starts extracting and carries on for
1, 2, 4 or 7 days depending on the speed setting. After restoring the power, The Back-Up
stops with suction and automatically starts charging the battery again.
Capacity
The Back-Up also works in larger growing rooms because, in case of a power failure no
heat has to be extracted, since bulbs and/or heating do not work. Therefore, the capacity
of The Back-Up can be less than the normal ventilation system. In rooms up to 50 m2
one Back-Up can produce enough vacuum to prevent odour leakage. The Back-Up has
been extensively tested to prove this!
Discovery
Odour nuisance is the most common cause of discovery, so take all possible measures to
prevent it! The power will not only fail by an electricity breakdown in the neighbourhood,
but also by lightning stroke, short circuit, malfunction or a blown fuse. A smart grower

Grow-Safe introduces the MABO, a revolution in fire prevention!
What causes the MABO to be so effective? The MABO reacts to an increase of
temperature in the area. When the solution reaches a of temperature of 84 degrees the
ampoule bursts open resulting in the dispersion of atomized liquid over a large area.
This liquid spray converts into a gas, harmless to man and environment, that covers the

whole room (12 to 16 m per MABO). Because of this the MABO, unlike other fire
extinguishers, doesn’t have to be placed near or directed toward the fire source.
The MABO contains a solution with a unique patented formula that directly after
activation converts into a gas. The gas reacts with the burning material which
immediately extinguishes the fire. The cooling, suffocating and flame retardant effect
prevents re-ignition. The released substance is harmless to humans and the
environment, easy to clean, doesn’t erode materials and causes no risk for short circuit.
