• Context:<br />

• Some remote objects require similar configurations<br />

• Problem:<br />

• Remote objects need to be configured with various properties, such as:<br />

• quality of service (QoS)<br />

• Interceptor tasks<br />

• lifecycle management<br />

• protocol support.<br />

• Configuring per server application is not flexible enough<br />

• Configuring for each remote object leads to implementation overhead<br />

• Solution:<br />

• Provide configuration groups which group remote objects with common<br />

properties<br />
