Dr Randeep Kulshrestha is a Consultant Radiologist at Trafford General Hospital and
Manchester Royal Infirmary and has a special interest in both oncology PET-CT and cardiac
PET imaging, having attained further PET-CT fellowship training at the internationally
renowned University Hospital, Zurich, prior to starting his consultant post in 2008. He is also
a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Salford.
Dr Parthiban Arumugam is a Nuclear Medicine Consultant and the Nuclear Cardiology
Lead Clinician at Manchester Royal Infirmary, and is credited for setting up only the second
centre in the UK outside London, to practice cardiac PET. He is also the current President of
the British Nuclear Cardiology Society (BNCS), and has recently organised a very successful
first UK national cardiac PET meeting.
