A decade ago, researchers around <strong>the</strong> globe predicted Western<br />

European countries would lose <strong>the</strong>ir competitive edge in<br />

production to low-cost countries, while transforming into pure<br />

think tanks.<br />

Did that happen? We invite you to discuss this topic with<br />

representatives from research and <strong>industry</strong> in a retrospective<br />

look at <strong>the</strong> past 10 years.<br />

We will also risk a glance into <strong>the</strong> future to find out how production<br />
