The Bailey Family Foundation
Scholarship
The Bailey Family Foundation Scholarship
One student at our school will win a $20,000
scholarship ($5,000 a year). Students must
have a minimum 2.5 GPA, financial need, and
community service or extra- curricular activities.
Students may apply at www.bailey-family.org.
The deadline is March 15, 2012.
2012 SAMMY Awards
The National Milk Mustache Campaign in
partnership with USA TODAY will reward 25
senior student athletes with a $7,500
scholarship. Students must excel in athletics,
academics, leadership, community service, and
drink milk to stay fit. Students may apply at

The deadline is March 19, 2012.
Lakeland Sister Cities
International Scholarship
This organization is awarding a $1,000
college scholarship. Preference is given to
applicants that meet the following criteria:
Current member of Lakeland Sister Cities
International, active community involvement,
outstanding leadership and grades, quality of
written responses, and 3 letters of
recommendation. Please see Mrs. Lee for an
application. The deadline is April 1, 2012.
Executive Women Golf
Association Scholarship
The EWGA is offering scholarships to
graduating female athletes. Students must
have a 3.0 GPA and participate in at least one
sport. Please see Mrs. Lee for an application.

DeBartolo Family Foundation
Scholarship
Seniors planning to attend college in the
summer or fall may apply for this scholarship. A
250 word essay and a copy of parent’s income
tax return from previous two years are

Drive For Excellence – Bartow
Ford
Juniors and seniors may enter a drawing
at Bartow Ford to win a new car.
Students must have a FL driver’s license to
participate. Bring your report cards to the
showroom and register for a chance to win a
key that unlocks a 2012 Ford Mustang.

Seminole Club of Polk County
Scholarship
Students applying for this scholarship must
reside in Polk County. Students must have a 3.5
GPA, 1075 SAT or a 24 ACT. Students must have
a letter of acceptance from FSU. Please see
Mrs. Lee for an application. The deadline is
May 9, 2012.
Johnson Scholarship Foundation
Students may download applications for these
scholarships at www.jsf.bz.
• The Johnson Scholarship Foundation is
offering scholarships to the children of UPS
employees or retires who live in Florida and
plan on attending college in Florida. The
deadline is April 15, 2012.
• The Foundation also awards scholarships to
disabled students attending a state
university in Florida. Students must
demonstrate a financial need by completing
a FAFSA by April 15. Students must have a
2.0 GPA and provide documentation of
their disability. The deadline is May 15,
2012.
Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA)
Students that want to apply for federal student
aid may go to www.fasfa.ed.gov to complete
the 2012-2013 online application. The deadline
for Florida is May 15. Please check with your
college for their FAFSA deadline. You may want
to ask your college about their definition of an
application deadline – whether it is the date
they received your FAFSA, or the date your
FAFSA is processed. Students that are eligible
for the Florida Bright Futures program must
complete the FAFSA to receive their scholarship
money.
