The first annual Ogeechee <strong>Angus</strong> Production Sale will be full of fun, Southern hospitality and outstanding <strong>Angus</strong><br />
cattle. Clint Smith and Smitty Lamb are two of the most avid, energetic young <strong>Angus</strong> enthusiast one could meet.<br />
Their love for <strong>Angus</strong> cattle is best demonstrated by the quality and depth of the offering. Clint and Smitty have<br />
invited Bubba Bamberg, Double B <strong>Angus</strong>, Bamberg, SC and Andrew McPeake, CAM Ranches, Arnoldsville, GA.<br />
To be part of this Inaugural Sale and the combination of genetics that these young breeders have assembled is<br />
impressive. Georgia is the home to many great <strong>Angus</strong> breeding programs and Ogeechee <strong>Angus</strong> can be counted<br />
among the elite group of breeders.<br />
We think you will be impressed by the offering and we urge everyone to review the sale book. A tremendous amount<br />
of emphasis has been placed on top cow families with production and EPD’s. For example, Lot 1, GAR New Design<br />
1964, an outstanding daughter by 1407 out of the Deer Valley and Rutherford donor, GAR Precision 4519, a full<br />
sister to 2536. She’s good and proven! The addition of GAR Plowman G240 from Blake Callaway has been a great<br />
asset to the Ogeechee program. Direct daughters of G240 sired by Predestined and granddaughters of Objective<br />
and Retail Product are offered. G240 is the dam of many great females including “Z38” and you can add daughters<br />
to your program. When referring to numbers, Southern Blackcap 3686, Lot 5, a daughter of the $180,000.00 7L<br />
and Ankony <strong>Angus</strong> donor, Blackcap 8102 brings a great individual record and then, evaluates the scan data on the<br />
Retail Product daughters, Lots 5A,B and C. It is clear this family is something special. It is worth ones time to read<br />
the sale book and evaluate the offering of these three breeders.<br />
