c ha nne l . The c o ns o l e may be fitted wit h a maximum o f twenty<br />
such input modules .<br />
Two Ml e an d one LINE source s are routed th r o ug h a pushbutton<br />
i nput selector to the input transformer and prea mplifier. A<br />
20 dB pa d may be i ns e r t ed into the mi crophone preamplifier to<br />
a ccommodate the highe r leve l condenser microphone output range.<br />
A preamplifi er SE NSI TI VIT Y control varies the ~a i n o f the<br />
preamplifier over a 30 dB range. Th i s control ope r a t es on<br />
all input ccnfi gurations - MI C, MI C PAD, and LINE.<br />
A PHA SE c ont r o l push bu tton inverts the phas e o f a ny s i gnal<br />
pass in g t h r c ugh t he M470 module . A red LEO indica t es when<br />

wi t hout char~e, all said products or parts thereo f whi ch ,<br />
upon f ac tory i nspec t io n , pro ve to be defec tive during t he<br />
warr ant y period provided that:<br />
e ) Original seria l numbers are intact and have not<br />
bee n ta mpered wi t h,<br />
b) The purchaser s hall r e t urn any equipment or<br />
pa rts t hereof to <strong>Ward</strong>. <strong>Beck</strong> <strong>Systems</strong> only after<br />
obtai n1ng prior a ut horization and s hipping<br />
instructions From t he factory. Wa r d4Bc ck <strong>Systems</strong><br />
reser ves the righ t t o i nspect or r epa i r on the<br />
purchaser's premises.<br />
c) The purchaser assumes t he obligation of all<br />
expenses i ncurred ; n connection With shfpping and<br />
r e tu r n1ng s uch goods, once authorization has been<br />
obtained.<br />
This warran ty does not cover i te ms normally considered<br />
expendable s uch as fu s es and lamps .<br />
Th1s wa r ra nt y does not cover damages caused by misuse.<br />
accident , neglect, una t hor l ze d alteration, repair by<br />
unau t hor i zed personnel, or damage caused by act of God,<br />
war or civil insurrect ion.<br />
In no e ven t shall '1a r d4<strong>Beck</strong> Sys tems be liable for<br />
co nsequent ia l damages . <strong>Ward</strong>-BeCk <strong>Systems</strong> Shall have the<br />
r i ght of final determina tion as to the applicability of<br />
this war ranty .<br />
