<strong>LESSON</strong> 5: 4-H <strong>Scavenger</strong> <strong>Hunt</strong><br />
4-H <strong>Scavenger</strong> <strong>Hunt</strong> Journal<br />
Using all the resources in your classroom, go on a scavenger hunt <strong>and</strong> find books,<br />
magazines, pictures, or items that have information about the topics listed below.<br />
When you find something that fits the clue, write down your finding in the journal area<br />
below. Be sure to include book titles, page numbers or locations in the room.<br />
Example: Find the resource that has information about the animal that most represents<br />
the Easter holiday.<br />
1. Identify something in the room that is the same color as the 4-H colors.<br />
2. Find a resource in the room that has information about insects (entomology).<br />
3. Find a resource that has information about citizenship.<br />
4. Find an item in the room that is made of 100% cotton. List the item <strong>and</strong> the 4-H<br />
project to which the item relates.<br />
5. Identify a resource that has information about the number of servings of foods<br />
we should eat each day.<br />
6. What item could be used to represent a wood science project?<br />
7. Find a resource that shows a skeleton or diagram of a fish.<br />
