Dinesh Kumar a.k.a DJ Biggie is one of the<br />
youngest DJs to rise to stardom in Malaysia. At just<br />
17 years old, he graduated from the prestigious<br />
Playaz Universe DJ School with goals of<br />
revolutionizing Malaysia's approach to DJing.<br />
Combining faith a charismatic personality and<br />
remarkable turntablist skills, DJ Biggie never fails to<br />
rock the crowd with the confident ease of a<br />
seasoned performer. His natural talent for live<br />
performances was spotlighted when he placed in<br />
the final rounds of DJ battles hosted by Vestax and<br />
Pioneer. He subsequently won the JUICE DJ Quest<br />
in 2004 for which he earned the respect of his<br />
peers and thus highlighting him as a force to be<br />
reckoned with.<br />
DJ Biggie's tur ntable skills are clearly<br />
demonstrated in variety, be it his performances<br />
alongside underground rap groups or as the<br />
opening act for international artiste concerts.<br />
Exuding a superfluity of talent and powered by<br />
years of experience, he has been a show DJ for<br />
local hip-hop heavyweights, Phlowtron, performing<br />
live on stage with them on various occasions.<br />
He has also attained residency at most of the top<br />
clubs in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You<br />
could find him rocking the house at Loft. Mist Club<br />
and Cynna Bar, alongside MC Poi or MC Syze.<br />
Presenting a triple threat approach, they collectively<br />
raised sales, jam-packed clubs and thrown parties<br />
that go down as epic in the books of many.<br />
DJ Biggie is tipped to be the nextÏ big thing to hit<br />
the Malaysian music scene and is already making<br />
waves in international waters. He’s brought his<br />
brand of deck skills to India, Australia and the UK,<br />
all in a short span of 1 year, and is continuing to<br />
create a rather voluminous buzz for himself.<br />

His unsurprising talent in turntablism presented him<br />
with the opportunity to be part of the prestigious<br />
Kartel Hitmen collective, a group consisting of<br />
some of the most highly accredited DJs in the<br />
Asian Pacific region as well as the award for Best<br />
Hip Hop DJ 2009/2010 at the Choons Awards, a<br />
local DJ award event. DJ Biggie’s focus has now<br />
shifted to the altered dimension of music<br />
production. Currently working on DJ mixtapes and<br />
producing tracks for various artistes in Malaysia.<br />
