The terms “Carrier <strong>Ethernet</strong>” and “<strong>Metro</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong>” are used interchangeably in<br />

this presentation, but in the strict sense of the term, “Carrier <strong>Ethernet</strong>” refers to<br />

the carrier-grade evolution of “<strong>Metro</strong> <strong>Ethernet</strong>”<br />
