DISTRICT 201 N3 - AUSTRALIA Lions Camp Kookaburra July 4 – 12, 2009 (Lions Camp Kookaburra, City of Lake Macquarie, NSW, Australia). July 13 - 24, 2009 (Optional Home Hosted Voluntary Community Service program). Males and females; Ages 17-21; Home stay and service project after camp for one or two weeks optional; Camp located on the banks of Glenrock lagoon, within a National Park. With surf beachfront and surrounded by natural bush. Close to the heart of Newcastle, about 160 kilometers north of Sydney. Activities include “Sights of Sydney Excursion”, bush walking, barbeques, beach activities, volleyball, cultural nights, camp concert, iceskating and indoor sports. Trips to see Wetlands, Wildlife Park. Experience Aboriginal culture and yachting on Lake Macquarie. Bring digital photos, national costume and favorite music CD. You must be fit and healthy.
