of products there are often a few
questions that come up. Here,

asked questions and clears up
those common queries we all ask!
Can I take the cleanse daily to avoid
doing a cleanse day?
Cleanse For Life can be taken daily or as the pillar
of a deep cleanse. Daily cleanses should be taken
first thing in the morning or 2 hours after a meal
for maximum absorption. A daily cleanse is a good
option for those individuals that find intermittent
fasting too challenging.
Why do Isagenix ® products contain fructose?
Fructose (as well as sugar in general) has received
a lot of bad press in the media recently, dominated
in particular by claims that are very loosely based
on “science”. As with everything — just as the dose
makes the poison, so too can it make the medicine.

Fructose is a naturally occurring sugar
found predominantly in fruit and honey.
It has a very low glycaemic index
(which means that it doesn’t spike
blood sugar levels) and may keep you
fuller for longer. Fructose is added in
small amounts in some of the products
because it’s natural, low glycaemic and
may also promote better gut health.
Can I add milk to
IsaLean Shake?
The IsaLean Shake is
designed to deliver the most
easy-to-digest, low-calorie
balanced meal that you can make in less
than a minute, so I would advise against
it. The shakes are creamy, so if a thicker
consistency is desired, add more ice and
slightly less water. Milk may be suitable
in cases where the individual has large
fuelling or weight gain goals.
Do I need IsaPro? How do
I know if I need it?
IsaPro was designed to help
individuals achieve slightly
higher protein intakes. Some
individuals may have higher protein
requirements due to their physique
goals, their sport or their stage of life.
1 scoop of IsaPro can be added to 1 ½
scoops of IsaLean Shake to increase
the amount of protein to 42g (versus
24g) in the shake. It may be useful for
breaking through a stubborn weight loss
plateau, increasing protein for recovery
(especially for a larger male athlete) or
increasing lean mass during an athlete’s
pre-season. Older adults may also benefit
from slightly higher protein intakes to
help prevent the loss of lean tissue. It’s
important to note however that most
individuals will get sufficient protein from
the IsaLean Shake alone.
How long will it take for me
to see results?
This one is impossible to answer!
Everyone is different and it depends
on your age, gender, the amount of
lean mass that you have, your medical
and weight history, genetics, etc. Most
people find that they notice a visible
change within the first 30 days of the
program. Weight goals are much more
difficult to predict because results vary.
It all depends on how closely you follow
the 30-day program, how effective your
exercise routine is and whether there is
a mix of resistance training and aerobic
(cardio) training, your past dieting history
and any underlying medical condition
that may have an impact on your
metabolic rate.
If I take Product B do I need
Ageless Actives?
Yes you do! Ageless Actives complement
Product B by providing 1000mg Vitamin
D, Co Enzyme Q10, important for muscle
function and cardiovascular health, and
significant dose of resveratrol, important
for cardiovascular and circulatory health.
How many cleanse days
can I do per month?
If weight loss is desired, you
may cleanse up to six days
per month (or no more than
three x 2-day deep cleanses). This is to
protect lean muscle tissue and ensure
adequate nourishment during the month.
For maintenance, individuals may wish to
cleanse one day per week or one-two x
2-day deep cleanses over
the month.
Which is better for
snacking — FibreSnacks!
or SlimCakes ? Do I need
both?
FibreSnacks! and SlimCakes are both
great snacks and contribute to increasing
your fibre intake for the day. An average
muesli bar delivers 0.5-3g fibre —
FibreSnacks! deliver 6g per bar and dare
I say they are one of the most delicious
bars that I’ve ever tasted! SlimCakes
deliver 5g of fibre per biscuit — I always
keep one in my bag or lunch box to
have as a sweet treat. I also like them
crumbled on yoghurt, on top of my shake
or even as a healthy biscuit base! You
may choose to have one or both of these
healthy snacks during the day, depending
on your calorie target and weight goals.

Making a change with Isagenix
“When I look at my before photos I can still clearly
remember how I felt when I weighed my heaviest. During
my first pregnancy, I gained 35kg which I never managed
to lose completely. At the end of my second pregnancy,
I weighed in at a whopping 32kg heavier after the birth.
I felt constantly exhausted, grumpy, depressed and was
not a very happy person to be around. I was far from the
woman I was before the pitter patter of tiny feet.
Before Isagenix® I can recall countless hours slogging it
out at the gym and restricting myself to small amounts of
food. I thought it was the only way to get my body back.
I was working so hard to lose the fat, but it just wasn’t
coming off!
A change for life!
I was introduced to Isagenix and after 30 days on the
program I had released 6kg, I was sleeping better and
I was much less stressed. The months passed by and I
began to notice so many positive changes in my body.

When I became pregnant with my third child I had a very

New hope for the future
with Isagenix
After a health scare last October, young
mum Sandy Golder decided it was time
to make some changes in her lifestyle. “I’d
been hospitalised which really scared me,”
shares Sandy. “With two young children and
my husband to think about, I started clean
eating and exercising to help me lose weight
and get as healthy as possible.”
After a few months of clean eating and
exercise Sandy still wasn’t feeling her best.
“I just didn’t feel good. By the end of January
I was willing to try anything. I noticed my
cousin’s Facebook page. She was looking
and feeling great so I got in contact with her
and she introduced me to Isagenix.”
Discovering something different

“We’re taught to get a degree to have a job that you work
in until you retire. If our children want to do that then that’s
fine but I want them to choose something because they love

From nurse to
entrepreneur!
Heidi MacAllan works as a part-time registered
nurse. After having her second child, she was
struggling to shift the baby weight.
“With my second pregnancy I was sick all the way
through and lived on banana bread and Milo! After
having my baby I weighed 80kg and was keen to
lose the extra kilos.
I did the usual thing, started eating right and
got a personal trainer to help me along the way.
I managed to get down to about 70kg but then
I just plateaued. A friend introduced me to Isagenix® but I wasn’t
interested at all! I couldn’t stand the thought of shakes so I carried

Milestone motivation
“It wasn’t until I was coming up to my 30th birthday that I decided

Escaping the rat race!
Carmen and Tom Rumsey didn’t know they
were looking for a way out of the rat race. With
two young children life was busy; they didn’t
think they had time for anything else. Then they
discovered Isagenix®.
“My best friend had been telling me about
Isagenix for a while, but I was pregnant and I
wasn’t interested.” shares Carmen. “By the time
my second child was 3 months old, the weight
just wasn’t coming off so I rang my friend and
said, ‘ok, it’s time!’ It was a big leap for me. I
thought shakes were something that people who
were too lazy to learn about food did. I’m an
eater and I love food. I was also skeptical about
the Network Marketing side of things but I’d got
to a point where something had to change.”
“The program was easier than I thought it would
be. When we weighed in for the first time I’d lost
2.3 kilos and Tom had lost 3.3 kilos! It was then
we thought we’d better take some ‘before’
photos because it looked like this was going to
work. Around the third week I realised I
wasn’t tired any more. I remember thinking ‘I’m
really happy, why am I so happy? This is really
weird!’ With two kids and working two jobs I
just thought it was normal that I should be tired
and cranky. I thought that’s just what life was at
this point in our lives. I didn’t realise there was
another option,” shares Carmen.
From product users to business
builders
After six months of using the Isagenix products,
Carmen and Tom decided to take a look at the
business opportunity. They were skeptical at
first, but having full faith in their friends who
introduced them to the opportunity, inspired
them to give it a go.
“I’d known about the business opportunity from
the beginning but I’d dismissed it. I just didn’t
think we had the time,” says Carmen. “I also
didn’t have any belief in Network Marketing. Then
we talked to some friends who were totally fine
with it! These were educated people who wanted
to give it a go and when they signed up I started
to look at things a bit more seriously. Within six
weeks I decided to quit my second job. I realised
it couldn’t take me where I wanted to go and I
believed that this could.”
“I’m just finding my feet in this business, Carmen
is certainly the driving force,” shares Tom. “I was
recently able to cut back my job to 4 days a
week thanks to our Isagenix income. Now I can
spend some more time at home looking after the
kids and getting more involved in our Isagenix
business. The only way to learn is by doing.”
Capturing the vision
“In our team we have a diverse range of skills.
Because we value each other and work as a
team we can afford to work in the area that’s our
strength, rather than constantly be struggling
with our weaknesses. Even though we’re a team,
we’re all individuals and one solution doesn’t fit
all. One thing this business has really taught me is
that there’s no one way to do this. You don’t have
to fit into someone else’s box,” says Carmen.
“I’d never been involved with Network Marketing
so had no idea what to expect,” says Tom. “Going
to Celebration and seeing the energy that the
Coover family give to everything they do makes a
big difference. Isagenix is a really young,
energetic company and you don’t really
appreciate that until you get to events. We want
to reach Isagenix Millionaire within two years. The
goal is to be able to work when we choose to,
doing what we choose to, when we choose
to, rather than because we need to. Nothing
should be constrained by finance when you have
another option.”

Overcoming disaster
Alec Munn and Debbie Jarrold were introduced
to Isagenix back in 2011. “We were introduced
by some friends of ours. We were product users
for quite a while and then started sharing with
everyone who was noticing the changes in us,”
shares Alec. “We’d lost weight, gained energy
and improved our sports performance. We were
just feeling happier and better all round.”
After winning a trip to Hawaii with IsaDerby in
January this year, Debbie returned inspired and
excited. It was then that she lost her home to the
floods in Bundaberg and Alec’s business went
under water. “Debbie arrived back from Hawaii
on the Friday, tornados came through the area
on the Saturday and then floods came on the
Sunday,” says Alec.
A new hope for the future
“I lost my mojo somewhat when the floods
came,” says Debbie. “Around April we’d bounced
back and I thought, hang on a minute, this
opportunity is too good to miss. We became
far more focused and determined. We picked
the ball up again and started working on the
business properly. We started sharing and
learning more and then won another IsaDerby
trip to Las Vegas for Celebration. That inspired
us even more!”
As well as Isagenix, the couple run Crossfit
Bundaberg and a second manufacturing
business. “We’re working towards doing
Isagenix full time, it’s becoming more that
way now. Particularly with Crossfit, the
two go hand in hand. 95% of people who
start Crossfit have a weight loss goal and
a fitness goal; they just want to feel good.
Getting our gym members involved with
Isagenix has been great for our growth!”
Debbie explains.
“A lot of Crossfitters take a hard line on
nutrition so we identify those who will
benefit from Isagenix, either from a
health or wealth perspective,”
says Alec. “We have quite a
few members now who use
Isagenix and love it! They’ll
be lifetime Isagenix users
and building businesses of
their own.”
The road to financial freedom
The goal for Alec and Debbie is now financial
freedom. “The ability to take a step back from
our conventional businesses is fantastic. We can
keep building on our Isagenix income which
gives us the choices in life to be able to do what
we want,” shares Alec.
“Already it’s made a massive difference. We
now have more trainers taking more classes at
Crossfit and Alec is there far less than he used
to be. We just took a holiday to Thailand
and while we were there we had
our biggest ever income week with
Isagenix! That’s something that’s really
impacted us. If we can achieve that
after six months of putting our minds
to it, who knows where we’ll be in a
year’s time!” says Debbie. The couple
are also celebrating their engagement.
Alec popped the question on their
holiday in Thailand. “We’re
hoping to get married in
April or May next year. My
beautiful engagement ring
is thanks to Isagenix and
the wedding will be
fantastic!”
