Culture of Giving
Cape May Retirement Village has received a generous
deferred gift that will help strengthen its culture of giving.
A deferred gift refers to a will commitment, an estate note,
or a life income agreement such as a charitable gift annuity
or a charitable remainder trust.
Lynn and Irene Rainsberger have established a charitable
gift annuity in support of capital improvements at
Cape May, the couple’s home since 2005. Like all of our
communities, Cape May has replacement, repair and
beautification needs that often fall
outside of the available budget. Gifts to
capital improvements help provide the
“extras” that enhance our communities,
making them more comfortable, more
efficient, and more attractive for the
people who live and work there.
Because of their generosity, the
Rainsbergers qualify for membership
in the OPRS Living Legacy Society.
