NEWS FROM THE DOE VALLEY GOLF CLUB<br />

Winter has been fickle this year, allowing us a number of beautiful days of<br />
golf during December and January.<br />
Maybe we can look forward to an early spring, officially get our clubs out of<br />
storage, get ourselves out of the house and onto our outstanding <strong>Doe</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> Golf Course<br />
HANG OVER TOURNEY<br />
The 20<strong>12</strong> golf season started early with our first event of the year: the First Annual Hang Over Tourney.<br />
We had 36 golfers <strong>part</strong>icipate in our inaugural event. The following is the results:<br />

LEAGUES & OUTINGS<br />
As <strong>part</strong> of the 20<strong>12</strong> Schedule of Events, we are forming golf leagues and searching for groups or<br />
businesses that would like to conduct a golf outing. If you or your place of employment is interested in<br />
having a league or golf outing, please contact me at the golf shop. The staff of <strong>Doe</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> Golf Club<br />
will provide all the services necessary to have a league or outing. The golfers are here to have fun not<br />
work.<br />
GOLF INSTRUCTION<br />
Mark Your Calendars: Beginning Golf and Intermediate Golf Instruction for Women will begin in<br />
April. We will provide more info in future newsletters.<br />
Individual lessons are available by appointment and will begin in March.<br />
Junior Golf Camps will be scheduled in June. Each camp will be by age group and last 4 days, Tuesday<br />
through Friday. Please watch the newsletter for registration info.<br />
ANNUAL GOLF MEMBERSHIPS<br />
Golf Memberships for 20<strong>12</strong> are available and the fees for 20<strong>12</strong> have not changed from 2011: POA<br />
Single: $ 50.00/Month; Family: 69.00/Month; Unlimited Cart: Single: $ 40.00/Month; Family: $ 50.00/<br />
Month; Trail Fee for Private Carts is available. Please contact the golf shop for more information.<br />
GOLF COURSE HOURS OF OPERATION<br />
The Golf Shop will be open daily 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Weather Permitting) through February. If it<br />
is sunny, no frost, and temps will be in the Hi 40’s and 50’s we will open at 9:00 AM<br />
MERCHANDISE<br />
New Items of merchandise will start arriving in the golf shop March 1st. If in need of Custom Fit<br />
Irons: we, at <strong>Doe</strong> <strong>Valley</strong> have the expertise, to fit and order any clubs that you desire.<br />
