VHF Procedures<br />

SECTOR:<br />

<strong>Le</strong> <strong>Havre</strong>/Antifer <strong>VTS</strong> Zone consists of one Sector only.<br />

VHF CH 12 or 20 (<strong>Le</strong> <strong>Havre</strong> Port and Antifer).<br />

VHF CH 22 (Antifer only).<br />

VIA: HAVRE PORT<br />

Call 3 hours before arrival Pilot station.<br />

When transiting system, all vessels should keep watch on designated frequency.<br />

Permission to change frequency or to end VHF watch should be obtained from<br />

<strong>Havre</strong> Port.<br />

Reports<br />

LE HAVRE<br />

1. All vessels must obtain clearance from HAVRE PORT before entering fairway.<br />

2. All vessels passing through area but NOT entering LE HAVRE MUST NOT cross<br />

fairway East of LH7/LH8 buoys. Such vessels may cross fairway West of LH7/LH8<br />

buoys AFTER obtaining clearance from HAVRE PORT.<br />

ANTIFER<br />

1. All vessels must obtain clearance from HAVRE PORT before entering fairway.<br />

2. All vessels passing through area but NOT entering ANTIFER MUST NOT cross<br />

fairway East of A21/A22 buoys. Such vessels may cross fairway West of A21/A22<br />

buoys AFTER obtaining clearance from ANTIFER PORT (VHF CH 22).<br />

2. Other vessels more than 70m length. Pilot boards near HP buoy<br />

ANTIFER Pilot boards near A5 Buoy (Racon)<br />

2. CALL HAVRE PILOT on VHF CH 20 for detailed pilotage information<br />

(for example: Whether Pilot will board by helicopter).<br />
