[P.l. caledonica] Breeding: Grand Terre Mts. (New Caledonia, SW Pacific) & possibly Vanuatu (S<br />
Pacific). In addition, the specific identity of birds on Raivavae (Austral Islands, French Polynesia)<br />
could possibly be this species or Collared Petrel.<br />
Non-breeding: Across tropical Pacific towards 10°N and E as far as the Galapágos Islands.<br />
Other names: White-winged Petrel, Sooty-capped Petrel, White-throated Petrel, New Caledonia<br />
Petrel (caledonica).<br />
