Morphologic Diagnosis
1. Iridociliary adenocarcinoma with intraocular
hemorrhage, retinal detachment, and scleral
and extraocular invasion
2. Moderate to coalescing lenticular degeneration
with multifocal mineralization

Iridociliary
epithelial tumors
• Second most common primary intraocular tumor in dogs
• Primary differential for this type of tumor would be an
amelanotic melanoma.
• Features for diagnosis:
1. Pigmented epithelial cells
2. Thick, smooth basement membrane structures
3. Positive for Vimentin, S-100, NSE

Follow-up
• Although iridociliary neoplasms may be locally
are extremely rare.
• Macy missed her most recent recheck
