Already <strong>Apr</strong>il…<br />

With Mardi Gras behind us (how fun was that!), now Easter<br />

is fast approaching. <strong>The</strong> Chefs will be creating an Easter<br />

spread which will be second-to-none. It is certainly a great time to be a<br />

member. Please make your reservations early as we fill quickly.<br />

Speaking of filling up quickly - this month’s Bingo night is on Thursday<br />

the 28th.<br />

I was having a conversation with a group of members recently and<br />

someone had the great idea of having a guest Bingo caller. Not to say<br />

that Joey isn’t great, but just see if anyone else would be interested<br />

in showing off his or her hidden talent. Sounds like fun to me (not<br />

that I would ever volunteer). So, if you, or anyone you know are at all<br />

interested, please call or drop by the club and see me. Please keep in<br />

mind the pay is not good.<br />

Lastly, I wanted to let everyone know that the Board approved a 3 club<br />

reciprocal agreement between the <strong>Pioneer</strong> <strong>Club</strong>, the Racquet <strong>Club</strong>, and<br />

the Country <strong>Club</strong> for dining only. <strong>The</strong> trial period will run from <strong>Apr</strong>il<br />

1st through June 30th. More details will be sent via email.<br />

I truly look forward to seeing you at your club!<br />

<strong>The</strong> club would like to recognize and thank Mr. Andrew Vanchiere<br />

and Mr. Greg Naquin for their dedication and time served on the<br />

Board. Both will be leaving at the end of March. On the other hand,<br />

the club would like to welcome Mrs. Mary Ann Moses, Mr. David<br />

DesOrmeaux, and Mr. Richard Reid to the Board. Everyone’s time<br />

spent or time to be spent on the Board is truly appreciated.<br />
