Our system is a unique design approach that customizes
factory made modular decking systems; this includes
CAD design and structural calculations.
Timber Component Choices
Pre-selection of timber is the first step of our production
line. Aiming at building a long lasting Decking system,
our team will choose the raw material, based on the
final geographical location of where Dekloc will be
installed.
The Dekloc range offers a variety of high quality certified
origin tropical hardwoods; Yellow Balau, Merbau and
Teak, all suitable for a wide range of high quality
applications.
Our Dekloc system is recognised by the Singapore
Environmental Council’s Green label scheme, which
carries merit to the BCA Green Mark and is recognised by
The Global EcoLabeling Network (GEN).
Not unlike other construction systems, factory
prefabrication makes sense for decking. Consistent
quality and large volume projects can easily be
accommodated in short time frames. This inevitably
leads to less congestion on site and reduced oversight
by the Main Contractor and Client.
Our proven fabrication methods using jigs and
hydraulic presses ensure a consistent product. Factory
timber selection and final machining prior to panel
construction result in a far superior product than would
be achievable on site.
Concealed Fixed Installation
Dekloc uses interlocking methodology for panel to
panel connection. Offset interlocking backing strips and
dowels between panels, both side to side and end and
end, mean that panels do not rely on mechanical fixings
alone for their long-term performance.
Dekloc backing strips are installed with concealed
fixings, that use both mechanical fasteners and epoxy
bonding. Located over joists, the backing strip adds
support and structural capacity of the system and
accommodates normal tolerances associated with
curvature in joists giving the impression of a substantial
joist visible through the board gaps.

Manufactured with proven references over 15 years in
Singapore, Dubai, India, and the Maldives. More than
250,000m2 of installed decking.

Dekloc, depending on the system adopted, can use
multiple panel sizes, typically from 2 to 4m, with our
Dekloc R system panelisation is disguised so that the
deck looks homogeneous and not obviously paneled.
Dekloc Design accommodates easy detailing of
removable panels and planter gratings.

Clients can choose to use standardised design and
materials, Dekloc Standard Panel, or custom designed
modular systems. Panels are designed to handled
by two people and are generally less than 60 kg per
panel.
All Dekloc panels have a rigorous quality process
from design through to materials selection, factory
fabrication and site installation.

Support Systems
Dekloc panels can be installed directly over concrete
with a minimum 50 mm ventilation gap, or via the
preferred method using height adjustable HDPE
Pedestals from 65-600 mm high.
The pedestal method requires joists either 40 to 90mm
deep depended on the required loading and joist specie.
This can be determined upon request.
Timber Quality and Source
First grade Merbau or Yellow Balau from verified or
certified forests meeting the following criteria:
• Forest Stewarship Council (FSC)
• Certisource Verified Legal standard for Indonesia
• Singapore Green Label approved timber

Backing Strips
Structural Backing strips are designed for panel
installation on shims over concrete, or directly over
the joist system. The strips are double fixed to the deck
boards with stainless steel fixings & Venturer Epoxy
Paste.
Warranty
The Dekloc systems carries an unparalleled Warranty up
to 10 years. Format available on request.
