According to a recent Ernst + Young survey, 60% of respondents say that their perception of
Africa as a place to do business has improved over the past three years. Looking forward 73%
of respondents anticipate that Africa’s attractiveness will improve over the next three years,
with half of these having a dedicated Africa strategy in place and 92% have an active business
presence on the continent. The survey results do, however, also highlight that there is a stark
difference in perception between those who already have a business presence in Africa
and those who do not.

In 2011, Seyi Akinwunmi took over the role of
Chairman at LSFA. With the support of Mr. Wahid
Enitan Oshodi, Hon. Commissioner for Youth
Sports and Social Development, Lagos State,
he has formalised an exciting and bold vision on
how to take football forward in Lagos.
This vision covers all areas of football including
learning, infrastructure, youth development,
professional football and the business of football.
