DESCRIPTION
The Aerostar ® GeoPleat ® 12” deep
model combines advanced deep pleat
technology and durable performance in a
high impact plastic frame. The GeoPleat is
designed to provide exceptionally high
levels of air purification in HVAC systems
with minimum resistance to air flow.
The GeoPleat 12” deep model utilizes a
thermal embossing pleating and glue bead
media separation technique, creating a
three dimensional pleat from the media. The
patented method of pleating and spacing
allows the air stream to gently transition
deep into the media pack with minimal
resistance. Captured airborne contaminants
are distributed evenly throughout the deep
pleat pack. The media pack of the GeoPleat
filter is adhesively bonded on all four sides
of the filter frame, eliminating the possibility
of air by-pass around the filter media
BENEFITS
Patented Deep Pleat Design The
advanced computer designed thermal
embossed pleat allows the lowest resistance
for a 12” depth pack. The low resistance to
air flow leads to considerable energy
savings in most HVAC systems.
Longest Filter Life The deep pleat design
maximizes the service life of the GeoPleat.
Captured particles are evenly distributed
deep into the pack providing exceptional
dust holding capacity and the longest
operational life.
High Efficiency GeoPleat is available in a
MERV 15 efficiency, exceeding most HVAC
specifications for airborne particulate
removal. The design allows for facility
upgrades to increase IAQ levels with no
system modification.
Lightweight The high impact plastic frame
produces an exceptionally strong filter
weighing up to 40% less than competitive
metal framed filters. Sharp metal edges are
also eliminated. The reduced weight
increases handling safety.
Robust Media The GeoPleat media is
extremely durable and resistant to tears and
punctures common to fiberglass paper type
media. The synthetic media is well suited
for high humidity applications and resistant
to microbial growth
